Hotel Cheap is an excellent choice to stay when in Sofia. Train, bus and metro stations are all within walking distance. English speaking staff
are really friendly and helpfulI. It is very clean and rooms have all you need. Most comfortable beds , tv, fridge and safe box and aircon. Taxi service hotel to airport is 10 euros and taxi from train to hotel was 10 lev.
Will definitely use this hotel again.

A unique bargain

A unique experience. It was great for me being a single male traveling alone. I have simple needs and the price was great. But before you book here you should know that it is no frills. The shower is odd. Does not look like it belongs in Europe. It is basically the entire bathroom so you have to be ready for slippery floors. Given that, I would not recommend for older people or people with mobility issues because it could be dangerous. I would however recommend this hotel. The owner/ operator is on site and it is always good to give some business to the local mom and pop. A bit dated, but can’t complain about anything at this price.

we stayed for 4 night in hotel cheap.it very close to the city and the famous restaurant.the staff were very helpfull .the breakfast was very basic with only tea or coffee with a crossiant.
the rooks are nice a the best we enjoyed was the shower.
they gave us free entry in ramada hotel for spa and swimming pool.

This hotel is the BEST place to go... IF YOU WANT YOUR FEET TO GET RIPPED AND BLOODY

I recommend you to avoid booking the room 103. The bathroom there has all the components of a trap that had badly hurts my boyfriend's feet:
1) A FLESH CUTTING TOOL: the waterhole in the shower's floor is bordered by sharp edged tiles.
2) A SLIPPERY FLOOR: There is no separation between the WC and the shower. So, basically, you take your shower in the toilets and the floor is always wet
3) Of course, NO CARPET that could prevent gliding.

Side notes:
- Don't complain to the direction: you'll get no answer.
- They make you pay the room in advance and will keep your money, whatever happens.
- We were there in date of 08-17-2019. Let's see if they secure their installation after this post.

Second Stay This Year And Still A Hidden Gem

Stayed here for the second time this year during a quick visit to Sofia. Hotel is conveniently located near the Central Railway Station, the Central Bus Station and the Metro … only a 10-minute walk away! Quiet off main road location.
Hotel is immaculately clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious enough for 2 people. In bathroom shower is close to toilet due to space constraint but this is the only partial negative about staying here.
Full service bar in lobby where you can grab a beer/cocktail or hot tea and coffee. They also have fresh croissant for sale for breakfast as there is NO restaurant on premise.
Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful.
Hotel is rated 2-Star but easily qualifies for 3-Star! Price about $40 USD for double room per night on booking.com (more expensive on other travel websites).
I really like this place...….
