Great value hotel in Victoria

I have stayed at Helm's Inn 3 times in 2025/2026 with kids and have enjoyed my stay each time. The hotel offers a good amount of space, kitchen and great location for a good price.
The location really can't be beat and the hotel has a parking lot right behind the Royal BC Museum for a nightly fee. It is just across the street from Beacon Hill Park and a fantastic location for exploring the city.
The rooms are basic and show their age, but provide plenty of bed options for family, and a well appointed kitchen for eating in. Staff has been great every time. I would highly recommend the hotel, especially for the price point compared to other options.

As usual, the property was clean, comfortable, and basically perfect for our needs. Every time we visit Victoria, this is our go-to location, and when it is booked, we wonder where to stay.

One of the best hotel I have stayed. Very clean, room was beautiful with full of amenities, like the kitchenette. Location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel .

Conveniently situated a few minutes walk from Victoria’s inner harbour, Helms Inn was clean, comfortable, with good room amenities. Excellent and good value for our three day stay.
