Well-located and tidy, though lacking air-conditioning

We stayed here for a week while attending the FIFA Women’s World Cup semi-finals & final.
This apartment has a great location in a residential neighbourhood, with multiple supermarkets and launderettes within a few minutes' walk. Numerous buses run close by and it’s only 10 minutes' walk to Lyon Part-Dieu station.
Check-in was in handled in person, though our delayed train meant that we had to pay a (stated) surcharge for arriving after 8pm, which wasn’t the greatest start to our stay.
It was a well-equipped, if small, apartment, making very good use of space, including a particularly large shower. There were nice touches like the coffee machine (with abundant pods) and tea, and the building was very secure. Wi-fi was extremely fast.
Overall, excellent value for money.
However, the big downside was the lack of air-conditioning. Given the heatwave during our stay, the supplied fan just wasn't adequate. There was also an unpleasant odour in the common entryway that really needs addressing.
Depending on the time of year, we’d consider staying here again.

we stayed at studihome part dieu for two nights, there was a constant bad smell from the hallway...on the third day, in the morning, we were literally invaded by A LOT of bugs/flies, in spite of being informed about the situation in the morning, the administrator did nothing until we came back at the property late afternoon, so we were forced to move to another hotel....horrible!
