Convenient, but expensive neighborhood...

Great location in this lively area. Kind welcome.
Small but clean room and bathroom. Bedding.
Bathroom with old clean shower curtain, but room curtain
Not very blackout and not too soundproof. Otherwise 1st floor side
quiet street in the evening and at night (Saturday to Sunday).
Sweet/savory breakfast managed with cord, but good and quite varied
for an H 2e. (Good coffee and pastries, fresh juice pressed).
Prices are not given for Valentine's Day (approx. +60% )

Terrible.

Bad experience in every respect.
A week after the stay I was notified of an alleged problem with the credit card, which is already very strange considering that the same card has always worked without problems. After trying several times to insert several cards, without receiving any concrete support, the reservation was simply cancelled.
The most serious thing was the total absence of assistance: no response to messages, no clear explanation, no real willingness to help the customer solve the problem.
In addition, the way the payment data request was handled made me feel unsafe and unprotected, especially in light of past reports of security issues.
Result: I found myself a few days before leaving without accommodation, with prices now much higher and without any support from the structure.
Unprofessional behavior and unacceptable customer management. I strongly advise against it.

Make your choice

Are you looking for an old hotel, with outdated bedding, not soundproofed, with the shower curtain sticking to the calves? Then head for the pee.
But on the other hand, the smile of the welcome and the proximity to Montparnasse station

We booked amd paid for the hotel, and upon arrival were told that there is actually no available rooms, that there is a problem with the system. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY ASAP

An underground experience. I strongly advise against it.

No air conditioning that would have been badly needed at almost 40 degrees. In the room under the roof on the 4th floor. On the first floor there was only one wobbly fan. From a room change to the seemingly cooler courtyard on the ground floor I hoped for relief. But that was a fallacy. It was just as hot and stuffy - and there wasn't even a fan, and it was extremely loud. The rooms are simply furnished. The bathrooms are super-narrow, on the ground floor I couldn't even open the door properly from the bathroom because I then toasted the toilet. After showering, the whole room was under water. The room window on the ground floor went out to the hose-like courtyard, which was a passageway to the other rooms. So you couldn't even open the curtains, let alone the windows, because someone was constantly running by and could look in. Or smoked at the tables in the yard. The breakfast offer is the lowest standard, but above all, female employees in the breakfast room spread out with their computers and talk loudly about their affairs without any consideration for the guests. The deposit of the credit card did not work out again and again despite many attempts, so that I had to fear on the day of arrival that the reservation was at risk. Of course, the hotel did not look for the error in itself, in its own system. Since I had to travel cheaply as a very young person, I have not lived so badly on trips. And that's with the prices. The staff is not friendly, but just unprofessional. I recommend looking elsewhere for accommodation.
