Familiar very friendly and modern

Small,very friendly and familiar pension app.15 minutes by the bus from the centre. If you are looking good accomodation in Budapest for good price you must visit pension Roxane. The pension has three modern furnished rooms ( free wifi,shower or bath, LCD TV, big bed) on the first floor. Downstairs is nice looking restaurant with good food. Restaurant is open till 11 pm. You can choose from many alcoholics drinks and draught beers (Bernard, DAB). At the pension is free parking and grocery. Bus station is far away 200m and underground station till 1 km and to the centre does it takes about 15 minutes. This pension is very good accomodation for good price.

Shocking customer service

This place says 24 hour front desk and express check in and check out but when I got to the property at 2pm (check in time) doors were locked and no one would answer. As I waited I decided this wasn’t worth it and booked a different place to stay. The owner contacted me after 3pm to see what time I would arrive which I thought was terrible.

Deludente e non in linea con le aspettative

Ho prenotato 4 notti in questa struttura in base alle recensioni di un portale e al prezzo che per il periodo che serviva a noi mi sembrava ragionevole. Si trova in una zona residenziale, tranquilla, per cui il parcheggio (cosa rara a Budapest) è facilmente reperibile e gratuito. Le stanze, tre in totale, si trovano sopra l'omonimo caffè. A differenza di quello dichiarato nel portale, in camera abbiamo trovato solo gabinetto e doccia. Per il lavandino avevamo a disposizione un bagno sul piano in comune con le altre due stanze (non dà l'idea di essere pulito giornalmente però ed è molto disordinato, con prodotti per la pulizia, scarpe, vestiti lasciati alla mercé di tutti). In 4 giorni di soggiorno non ci hanno mai cambiato gli asciugamani (fornito solo uno grande a testa) e hanno svuotato il cestino in camera 1 volta. La colazione, compresa nel prezzo (ma difficile ordinarla, non hanno delle proposte prestabilite e non ci si capiva molto con la lingua), abbiamo notato come venisse allestita in parte già la sera precedente (sui tavolini scodellini con cereali, non mi è parso molto igienico). Ci richiedevano gli orari di uscita e rientro (perché la chiave della stanza la trattengono loro). Le finestre della nostra stanza (trattasi di mansarde) non si aprivano e si è costretti a tenere il condizionatore acceso tutto il tempo (se non te lo spengono loro). Letti tutto sommato comodi, pulizia non eccezionale. Speravo meglio. Non lo consiglierei.
