Couldn't communicate. They wouldn't listen to late arrival. Gave the room. Refused refund.

CONVENIENT AND ORDINARY

We stayed for the Immaculate Conception long weekend. Excellent location since it is behind the central station and close to the bus stop. Double room not very spacious but standard. New bathroom with a triangular shower but with a cabin door that didn't close well. Clean environment, helpful reception staff: there is also an Italian receptionist from Lecco. We did not take advantage of breakfast because the cost was high (20 CHF) and you can easily have breakfast inside the station for much less! The cost of the stay is in line with the average Swiss prices (VERY STEEP).

The hotel is in an excellent location. As soon as we arrived, we were given a BaselCard, which made getting around the city very easy. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Excellent foothold in Basel

Although we have not yet completed our stay at this hotel, I am not afraid to deny that it is once again a great base for staying in Basel and visiting the city. Located a 5-6 minute walk from the main SBB train station (rear exit, not the front one), it has tram stops around the corner and can count on reception staff who are always very welcoming and willing to provide useful information, while the rooms are spacious enough and above all very clean. In addition, the Basel Card is given free of charge, which allows free use on public transport and discounts on museum entrance fees, including that of the Beyeler Foundation in Riehen.
