An ideal stay in fabulous Celle

Great hotel, fantastic location, easy parking. Everything was ideal. A great place to explore fabulous Celle from. The old town, shops, restaurants etc are literally a minute's walk away. Highly recommended.

Is not worth the price

3er studio directly under the roof, no air conditioning, 32°C indoor temperature (at 36°C outdoor temperature) and the only thing available was a small table fan that was in the closet! So we slept at night with the window open, which unfortunately faced the street. Enormous soundscape due to continuous through traffic. In short: Hardly any eyes closed at night. The TV also failed ("Service not available") and the key cards had to be reprogrammed twice because they did not work.
Breakfast was ok.
Nevertheless: The next time we visit Celle (we travel here regularly) we book somewhere else

You can do it... but you can also skip it

I specifically booked a business room to have a bit more space.
A double bed was requested.
After checking in, I went right back down. Room dark, only a mini window, naturally 2 single beds
The statement was that there are no double beds and no other room either.
That was not good
Small bathroom, small TV... only one chair and yes, a bit dated.

Fairly modern property with clear opportunities for more guest orientation. Consumption cannot be charged to the room bill because they "have already had negative experiences with guests." Leaving a deposit on a credit card for security is not possible because the software does not allow it. No TV reception, therefore a room change. Even there, only a restricted and limited selection of channels. The property is managed as a non-smoking hotel, which is fine. But leaving smokers standing in the rain far away from the entrance is a no-go! Other properties are much further ahead and offer, e.g., sometimes even covered (!) seating options! Only at breakfast was the service good thanks to the staff.

Recommended starting point for walking tours of Celle

Ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful city of Celle on foot.
Good parking options (hotel-owned parking spaces as well as the parking garage on Nordwall next door) also allow for convenient excursions by car into the surrounding area.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, and practically furnished rooms round off the very positive impression.
Recommended!
