Great experience!

Hotel Engbert is a very pleasant travel experience. The hotel is immaculate--so clean, attractive, and welcoming. The location could not be better, as it is in the heart of Oelde within walking distance of everything you need. Each member of the staff is always smiling and helpful, and the breakfast is exceptional. The gym is convenient and had everything I needed. My little dog accompanied me, and he was also made to feel welcome, with many places to walk him nearby. I could not recommend this hotel more highly!

A nice hotel but never a 4-star hotel.
I do not know how this hotel has been given 4 stars - a mistake in my opinon.

Single room almost like in a youth hostel

I can't remember sleeping in a hotel room in recent years where the single bed was squashed against the wall in the corner of the room. The room was therefore very small and simple with a desk and a small TV. In my opinion, it wasn't inviting to linger. Reception and breakfast room on the first floor. Everything you need is there, but there are no lemons for tea, not even artificial ones. Overall, it's OK for one night, but the price for a room with breakfast in the metropolis of Oelde is too high.

It doesn't get any better than this! It's like coming home!

A really excellent hotel; medium-sized, but fine, charming, family-run. I haven't stayed in such a well-kept, excellently run hotel for a long time. Lots of attention to detail! Very friendly, helpful staff, super clean, tasteful ambience, great rooms, excellent facilities, great breakfast of high quality!
My shortening of my stay - due to the train strike - was dealt with quickly and without red tape. I would be happy to come back to the beautiful town of Oelde and to the "Engbert" at any time!
