Funky Hotel

Had a two-night stay in this great little Hotel. Located in the old Gowing's department store & above the State Theatre in Market Street it is centrally located and an easy stroll to Hyde Park, Pitt St Mall, QVB & all points of Sydney City. Good facilities with a ground floor bar area & Gowing's Bar & Grille upstairs. Huge bathroom & bed, and had a good restful stay!

Another great stay at the QT Hotel

Lovely stay at this unique hotel. From being greeted at the entrance, the friendly receptionists and the experience of staying in this historic building, it was a great two nights stay. A lot of thought and artistic flair has gone into the decor of this hotel, interesting things to see in the reception area and on every floor. The room is a little dark, with the dark walls, so that can be a little off putting for some, but my room was spacious and well equipped. I was lucky to get the deal with the bonus spending money at their restaurants - the meals were great. Great location near Town Hall station and the light rail .. and right in the heart of the shopping precinct. Excellent location if you are are attending the Sydney Film Festival as the State Theatre is right next door.

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully adapted to its location and heritage setting. Very attentive staff and beautiful rooms. Dining at Parlour was a fantastic experience.

As a solo business traveller arriving late and leaving early… and priced out of the restaurants… the best of The QC was probably wasted on me!
Had I been travelling with my wife for show at The State Theatre, I might have enjoyed the dark, edgy, individually furnished rooms; the interestingly stocked mini bar; the lively restaurants. Maybe next time?

This visit was our 21st anniversary and we ending up with a upgrade to something even more amazing
