Enchanting
We discovered this farm by chance, we were looking for a structure near Flacau.
What can I say, characteristic Austrian structure, the rooms were very nice and welcoming, cleanliness 10 compliments, the staff who were Mother and Daughter were very kind and attentive to every request, compliments. Highly recommended..

Great hotel for winter or summer vacation
We really enjoyed our stay here for a skiing trip in late February. There wasn't much snow left which is not normal due to the unseasonably warm weather in the Alps. But the skiing at higher elevations was no problem and with a car we could get anywhere. There is a skibus that runs between Reitdorf (where this hotel is located) and Flachau and even to Wagrain. As I do cross country, I went up to the Obertauern area where there was plenty of snow and good runs. My husband had great downhill runs in Altenmarkt and Flachau. The food at the hotel prepared by Monika, the owner, is delicious and typically wholesome Austrian fare. Once a week they have a "huetten abend" up in a little hut above the hotel with downhill sledding afterwards. Was great fun. The wellness area is really nice with two kinds of sauna and a steam room. One can also arrange for a masseuse to come for a massage there in the wellness area. Summers are lovely as there is hiking in the surrounding area, lots of small animals for children to play with, and pony rides for kids once a week. An ideal place to take children. The family does not speak English very well, but this is atypical of most pensions and small hotels in the alps whether in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. There are several apartments available to rent in the hotel as well as very comfortable rooms.

comfortable room and excellent breakfast
We stayed for longer weekend skiing in Flachau. Double room was very comfortable and clean. The place is very calm so we could sleep very well.
Breakfast was perfect to start skiiing day, wide choice of everything. Evening meals were home-made but for me too salty.
Wellness is perfect and spacious enough, we enjoyed it very much!
We appreciated the ski bus stop in front of house as we prefer to give our car holiday as well.
We enjoyed the evening in hut and going by sledge downhill. Do not hesitate to go, it is fun!!!
For those who like to walk in the village and maybe go to some other restaurat /bar - there is nothing like this in Reitdorf (this is the outskirt of Flachau). It is necessary to take a car or taxi and go to Flachau (what we did because on Sunday evening the kitchen was closed).
And the reason I am giving only "very good" is that nobody speaks English here. On the other hand landlady is trying hard to understand and as we can understand some German, we solved everything we needed :-)
Overall we would recommend this for skiing holiday and we would like to come back.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder
Sehr gute Lage, super zu erreichen und in der direkten Umgebung kann man schön spazieren gehen.
Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich, das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist lecker. Aktuell Dienstag und Sonntag geschlossen, der nächste Ort mit weiteren Restaurants ist aber nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.
Da es keinen Aufzug gibt, ist es mit Kinderwagen ein bisschen umständlich.
Teilweise überdachte Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.
Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich, das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Velmi dobré ubytování
Dobrá lokalita - hodinu jízdy od Salcburku a Hallstattu.
Pokoj dostačující, postel pohodlná, výhled z balkonu na hory nádherný.
Personál byl milý a přátelský, na pokoji nám chyběly ručníky, hned nám je s omluvou donesli.
Snídaně velmi dobrá, velký výběr.
Cena nižší než ubytování v okolí, tak jsme velmi spokojení.
Pokoj dostačující, postel pohodlná, výhled z balkonu na hory nádherný.
