Wonderful time in the Stubai Valley

Beautiful farmhouse with a warm family.

Great breakfast and nice host

Nice room and very friendly host. We arrived early around 9.30 am and could immediately use the room. Great breakfast and for dinner it a short walk to the center of the town. Skibus is nearby. On the day of our departure we could even use the room until the end of at 5 pm.

Winter ski break

Highly recommended, a truly excellent place to stay, especially with young children. We were extended family of grandparents, parents and three young children. The accommodation was great value, the location was perfect for getting to the village and to the ski slopes, the rooms were delightful, with spectacular views, delicious breakfast and a hostess who could not have done more to enhance our stay. We would all love to return.

A very relaxing green holiday

The farmhouse is placed in a total green contest, away from traffic and at the same time in a 5 minutes walking distance from services and from footpaths. The room was big enough, clean and perfectly prepared and the morning breakfast is rich of products coming from the farm animals. The owner, is friendfull and ready to help and involve kids and adults in the farm life. If you want to have a very relaxing holiday this is the right place.

Wonderful location and service

We spent four days in Stubaital and really enjoyed very much our stay at Schottenhof.
This local farm offers a well-equipped B&B service. Be aware: if you are looking for a luxurious hotel with pool and so on, this is not for you. Now, if you are willing to experience the local life-style in a rural environment with access to all amenities the valley can offer plus the charm of a farm, this is the right place.
The rooms are very spacious, simple but well equipped and have a balcony with views to the valley. They are extremely clean and have a daily room service (something that is not always offered in other B&B as per my experience, especially for short stays). Frau Denifl is very nice and helpful; she made efforts to speak slowly and clear to compensate our poor German and suggested a couple restaurants for dinner. The reservation process was very easy and fast; we got a booking confirmation the very same day we contacted by mail Ms. Dunifl and paid upon arrival.
Last, I have to mention the breakfast. The quality of the products was astonishing. I had never, ever had such delicious milk. No wonder this is in fact a farm! The variety of breads, jams, cereals, cheese and fruits was very good and everything was fresh and tasty.
On top of all this, we got a Stubaicard per person already included in the price (which we already found quite cheap) for the total length of our stay. This gave us access to public transportation, many lifts (like Stubaier Gletscher or Serles) and the amazing Alpine Coaster (Sommerrodelnbahn) among other things.
So yes, I highly recommend this wonderful B&B and we will surely return.
