PROS:
- friendly welcome and welfare; great recommendation for dinner!
- clean room and property
- located in the center of Graz
CONS:
- We arrived for breakfast on Sunday around 8:45 a.m. and found that only one small table was left. There were no bread rolls left—they weren't being replenished—and cold cuts and cheese were only brought out after a long delay. This is not what we are used to from NH Hotels. Disappointing experience.
- there is no connecting from the parking garage to the hotel; you have to leave the garage with your luggage and carry it over the market place to the hotel entrance. Hotel garage expensive.

thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am very sorry to hear that your breakfast experience did not meet your expectations, especially after arriving in the morning and looking forward to starting the day with a good breakfast.
I completely understand how disappointing it must have been to find only a limited selection available and to experience a delay in replenishment. This is certainly not the impression we would like our guests to take away from their stay, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Regarding the parking, we understand that the garage arrangement and the additional costs can be frustrating. As our hotel is located directly in the city center, we unfortunately do not have our own on-site parking facilities and therefore cooperate with a nearby public garage.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. We will take your comments regarding breakfast seriously and discuss them with our team, as they help us identify where we need to improve.
We hope that, despite these points, you were able to enjoy your time in Graz and that we may have the opportunity to provide you with a much better overall experience on a future visit.

NH Graz City - one of the most convenient hotels in historical European towns ...

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, as it’s hard to find a more convenient location in the center of an old European city. There’s a lovely, quiet park nearby, as well as convenient, affordable parking; wonderful breakfasts, excellent internet with no limits on the number of devices, and comfortable rooms. The only thing that surprised me on my most recent visit (August 2026) was that they had permanently closed the lobby bar, where I could always grab a bottle of Zweigelt upon arrival. Please, HN management, if you’re reading this — bring this back the way it was, because Zweigelt is one of Austria’s attractions too! ))

Very good hotel

Had a wonderful stay here. The highlight was definitely the front desk staff—reception was welcoming, efficient, and super helpful throughout. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a huge selection of high-quality, fresh options to start the day. Highly recommend!

Nice, but small room. Well kept hotel in great location. Staff at check in were abrupt and didn't offer any guidance to the local area (which most hotels do). Clearly the lady did not want to be working. Other than the staff, the hotel was nice.

I requested an extra bed with bedding. Unfortunately, we were unable to use it because there were dead cockroaches on the bedding. Consequently, my family had to spend the night sharing a single King bed. As we checked in late (after 10:00 p.m.), I did not request a replacement at that time.
