Excellent stay

Stayed here with my family and we had a lovely experience! Accommodations were clean and pleasant, the food and wine were absolutely wonderful, and the hospitality was incredible. We had such a great stay even during a quiet part of the year.

Special hotel and very friendly

Very amazing place with a lot of local wine history, also very friendly for foreign and they support you with all recommendations to sightseeing. We appreciated it a lot. It is a family hotel and with a special place to dinner, so if you want to taste special foods, I recommend booking a dinner in advance. Comfortable room for family

Great house for excursions in the area

The Opitz family are excellent hosts, very nice and always helpful.
The rooms are very clean and have a nice bathroom.
Mr Opitz and his wine knowledge are simply fantastic.
The Opitz family make the holiday an experience.
We look forward to seeing you again

Amazing wine & excellent food

We had a really lovely weekend with our most gracious hosts Willi & Maria, Angela & Ian.
We learned about wine, enjoyed a fabulous 10 course tasting menu with some gorgeous wine, saw some amazing scenery - lots of wildlife, lovely walks, white donkeys and after all this returned home relaxed, well rested and wiser.
What more can you ask!
