Ups and downs
The lake and the offerings around it are quite harmonious. In the lake, there are quite a few fish, bouncy castles, and freely available surfboards.
We had very little contact with the service, but when we did, it was always friendly and always helped us out.
So basically everything you need for a vacation.
But there are also downsides: The individual spots are very tight, the entire site seems densely packed and almost overcrowded.
Since the campsite is located near the A12 and A13, there is also a lot of movement to be noted. Because the overnight-only guests do not seem to have their own area. And so you are more frequently woken up by morning departure noise. That dampens the vacation feeling.
The lake is also a public swimming area and is likewise often very crowded. At the beginning of the vacation, the water was also significantly clearer...

Incompetent & expensive
However, we received incorrect information by phone before reserving the pitch regarding the kids' club, as well as on-site again by the reception staff. Otherwise, we would not have booked in the first place.
On-site, it was acknowledged that we were given incorrect information, however, there was no sign of any accommodation, not even regarding a compromise for an early departure, which I suggested.
All in all, the childcare is poor. Very many children and often only one entertainer, who often preferred to sit at the notebook rather than engage with the kids.
Since this campsite was by far the most expensive on our trip (not just the site, but also everything around it, such as a portion of swimming pool fries for almost $7), we had expected significantly more.
Heated discussions with the boss, who parks his 500hp supercar directly in front of the kids' club (why?!?), were completely in vain.
We left 3 nights early...
Very unfortunate & annoying!

The lake is too small for the many people. There is no peace here.
The restaurant was quite good, but also very expensive: bowl €25, pizza €18.

In winter 5* are not justified
Activities did not take place since winter(rest), however, the bus also did not run. The restaurant was closed, the offer in the mini market very manageable.
The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. The reception staff tried hard but were not matched. That led to annoyance.
