nice cottages near Maun

nice cottages near Maun.
Some nice little houses. Nice outdoor shower. Clean, good bed.
Also good food and breakfast.
Baskets etc made for sale by the staff. The proceeds go to them.
We bought a beautiful basket made by Maggie.
Lots of info about the B7B and about making tours, friendly owner and nice staff.

Discovery as good as always

It is the most authentic African rondavel b&b with all the modern amenities just 10-15 minutes outside from Maun on the route to Moremi.
Their breakfast and dinner is very good. I’m definitely staying here again.

Go there

3 days in this B&B run by a charming couple. They will be sure to take the time to advise you. The staff is smiling (which was not always the case in Botswana). The breakfast is hearty and good. We had 2 dinners (they do not cook every night) and it was truly delicious. The room is charming. Mosquito net, mosquito repellent, ... everything is there to make you feel comfortable, I recommend it.

Stop Over

What a nice place this was! Thank you to Elsie, who was our first contact and what a reception! Thank you also René and Marije for your hospitality, the lovely chats and all the other staff for their kindness. This is truly a place to stay over. Wish we could be back there soon. Elsie's banana bread is worth it with a cup of coffee. Everything is well thought through and lovely. We also appreciated the electrical point at the parking where we could plug our freezer in while staying over.

FOR SURE THE BEST PLACE TO STAY ARRIVNG OR LEAVING MAUN

Just some km away from Maun in the nature,thank you Maije for your warm welcoming,of your staff too,for the good tasty food,the cosy accomodation and the mokoro cruise on the Thamalakane river just nearby!
