Pousada Halai Gamboa
A reserved place, has large suites, well equipped and decorated rooms.
It has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV and fridge bar in the rooms.
Scheduled breakfast and with natural and local options.
Sympathy in the heights of the owner.

I wonder how it is possible to write a review about a pousada without even spending one night over. You arrived at the pousada ond day before the date booked, with a guide, even if I had sent all the details to get here. As I wasn't waiting for any guests (all our guest have the keys) so it took me a few min to realize there were people in front of the door, and when I opened I was told that they were already gone, so we didn't even meet. After a few minutes I received a phone call from you saying that you wanted to cancel. I explained that, following the policy you accepted when you booked, cancellation up to five days before arrival is subject to a penalty of 100% of the total amount of the reservation, you hung up. The neighbourhood is simple (it a fishermen village) but I think that is a strong word call it slum! By the way simple and poor does not automatically means dangerous, and it was not night. In the garden of the pousada we have a restaurant sea view open at night (but you didn't had the chance to take a look at our garden) and on the beach in front of the pousada there a lot of restaurants open during the day (including ours) and a few also at night, 50 mt from the pousada there another restaurant with a wonderful terrace sea view, and in the center of the village there a few restaurants and pizzarias just in front of the sea (unfortunately you did not stay even one night to try one of them). If you had at least entered the pousada you could have seen that it's just in front of the sea just like the pictures show. From the pier it's 10 min walking and guests can choose to enter from the beach or from the street (thing that you should have known if you had really stayed at the pousada). I kindly ask you to check your information before writing review of pousada where you didn't spend a night. Best regards

O café da manhã é farto, variado e muito gostoso, preparado com carinho, o que tornou as manhãs ainda mais especiais.
Foi uma estadia maravilhosa, marcada pelo conforto, pelo carinho no atendimento e pela tranquilidade do lugar. Sem dúvida, uma excelente experiência — um lugar ao qual voltaríamos com prazer e que recomendamos para quem busca descanso, aconchego e hospitalidade.
