Not for the super picky, strict minimum, but perfect and right next to beach number 2. A/c working all day and good breakfast

Decadent place

The only things that made the money worth spent was the location on 2 beach and the good hospitality of the staff, especially the Nega which is extremely solicitory. Otherwise, the entire accommodation facility is a chaos. Walls taken by mold, small rooms that poorly allow for walking, damaged doors, the key was stuck countless times. The coffee is simple, but meets, the bathroom has no ventilation. The entire accommodation should undergo a major renovation, as it is decaying.

The air conditioner did not work. It leaked all night and my backpack got completely wet. I complained and they promised they were going to fix it. They didn't. The next day after my children were already sleeping they offered me a portable air conditioner. Thar was even worse as it also made the room wet and did not even heat. So the second night we were hot and wet. When I complained to reception she made me feel as I was a diffcult guest and complained for no reason. Then my husband noticed that the pillows were molded. . Then we noticed that the little fridge did not work and that was because the extension lead they were using was soaked so we risked an eletric shock all night long and were not even aware. I took the extension lead out and moved the fridge so its own cord could reach the plug. The tv was so small that you can't call that a tv. The milk in the breakfast was off and it curdled when you put in your coffe. In the end we just stayed the two nights and found another hotel to stay. I rather loose the other 2 nights I had already paid then staying in there another night.

Like Home

is a comfortable and cozy hostel.
they have private rooms, and even a private balcony.
the breakfast they offer is plentiful, a lot of salty and sweet choices.
you have wifi, but sometimes the signal is too weak in the back rooms.
Air condition in every room, TV and private bathrooms.
they will change sheets and towels everyday.
The staff is kind and helpful.
It is not a cheap place, but it´is totally worth it.
The location is one block from the 2nd beach, which is the best beach to party.
the island is not really that big, so if you need to go to the center of the island is just 10 minutes walking.

Una catastrofe

Family trip in Morro. Before booking we ask the pousada whether the rooms are suitable or not for a person on wheelchair and their answer is " absolutely yes ". Eventually, the bathroom is tiny and really awful. My disabled cousin can't have a bath and it is a real nightmare. Moreover they don't change towels and keep the garbage bin full for ages ( And that's so bad considering that you can only put the dirty bath paper inside it and not in the WC ). Wifi works good, air conditioning as well.
