Excellent hotel in the centre of Florianópolis
Excellent hotel in the center of Florianópolis. It has spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. In addition, the staff are very caring and welcoming. Highlight is the existence of a gastronomic polo next to the hotel, with options for the most diverse tastes.

Decreases in the quality of cleaning
It seems that the Intercity network had a general decline in quality in Florianópolis/SC. If you are curious, you can also see my other review of Intercity Portofino.
In this last stay, in March 2026, I noticed worsening mainly in cleaning. Dirty or stained towels and edredons.
On Sunday, even leaving the warning on the door, the maid did not pass through the room to carry out the cleaning.
In addition, there was a nighttime employee who did not show sympathy in the service. In contrast, in the morning I was very well served.
Overall, the hotel remains good, with a great location and renovated rooms, but need to urgently correct these cleaning flaws and improve the standardization in the service.

The hotel and staff were both amazing! Lucia especially was very helpful with my checkout. Incredible complimentary breakfast. Clean rooms, fluffy pillows and quiet. Also right next to tons of food options at Rita Marias. The ONLY place to stay downtown. Will be going back soon!

Room was clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was great. Our room was extremely small but we only stayed for 1 night so it was fine. If I was staying longer the room would have been too small (we stayed in a luxo casal room).

Bad attention
We picked up the Jurerê suite to be our suite during the time we were in Florianópolis for our wedding. The suite is beautiful and the other rooms have also been renovated. However, the service was bad from the beginning of the reservation to the end. Past prices distorted, poorly educated attendants generating trouble being in the more than 40 guests who stayed in the hotel. When we booked we tried to schedule a visit to see how the room was what was impossible to be done by Clara unwillingly of who was serving, who by the way only contacted by e-mail and gave half explanations. A pity, as the hotel is getting with a super good equipment and the location for the occasion was perfect. But from bride to bride, if you do not want to get stressed avoid and if you choose to keep an eye on the undue charges and book everything by the site that is cheaper than in direct contact.
