Room was clean and comfortable. Nice view from the 10th floor. Breakfast is in the 12th- a bit crowded and chaotic, not enough space to get your stuff. Valet Parking was amazing and always on time.
Location was for our purpose right.

Staff members were very helpful from receptionist to the valet staff. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious. It is walkable to the river.

Our room was a very nice with 3 rooms plus the bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The hostess at breakfast was helpful as she guided us through the layout of the food set up. Check out was quick and easy.

Said they upgraded and wasn’t better also, No Mountain View.
When we checked out, we were waiting for our vehicle from valet. He went past the hotel and parked it in the back alley behind the hotel. He left keys at front desk while we stood outside waiting for him to come back. They did not bring keys out or let us know where it was. We had to go to front desk and ask where our vehicle was. The response was “sorry we forgot to tell you”
Also, when we arrived we asked where parking close by was, they said only valet parking, only to discover that there is a pay parking lot just across the street by the hotel which would have been much better. We are very disappointed for the price we paid for the hotel. Staff seemed to be friendly but not super competent.

We had a great stay at Element Calgary Downtown! The property feels fresh, stylish, and clean, making it a wonderful base for exploring the city.
Highlights of our stay:
Friendly Service: Even though the venue (The Velvet) seemed a bit short-staffed, which made for a slightly longer wait time, the staff were consistently warm and friendly, and check-in/check-out went super smoothly.
Spacious Suites & Kitchenette: Having the mini-kitchen with a fridge and stovetop was super convenient. The rooms are bright, modern, and very comfortable.
Complimentary Breakfast: The morning breakfast had a great variety of delicious, fresh options to start the day.
Great Views & Vibe: The top-floor patio lounge offers incredible views of the city, a perfect spot to relax in the evening.
Prime Location: Downtown location made it easy to walk down to the river pathways, explore local spots, or get around town.
Overall, a lovely stay with great amenities. We would definitely come back!
