The room was very clean, and parking was easy. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we needed. I loved the deep tub in the bathroom!

Great honeymoon experience!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Basecamp Lodge. We requested the honeymoon celebration package which was very cute.
The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, the shower had really great water pressure, and we enjoyed the use of the smart tv to sign into our own Netflix account. The place seems very secure and we had our own code to get into the room instead of a key card which was nice. Staff were very friendly. It is a close walk to the downtown Canmore strip. We could control our own climate which was also nice. Our only very small complaint was that there a few very wet spots on the carpet that never seemed to go away. We thought it might have been cleaning products but they never dried so we think they may have been some kind of leak. It was a not a big issue just slightly annoying as we kept accidentally stepping on them with socks on.

Parking is TIGHT. I wouldn't stay here with a larger vehicle. We were driving a Dodge Hornet rental and it worked fine. Be sure to check the second floor for communal microwaves, ice machine and a heating pot for making coffee, hot chocolate or tea. Great location for seeing National parks. We purchased tickets for a 8-10 hr tour. We were picked up at the visitor center just outside of town and found out that the tour picked up people in Calgary, Canmore (us), and Banff (the town). The Boston Pizza was willing to do their 12 in Sicilian pizza with their vegetable ingredients. It was GREAT. Crust was a little crispy, just right, with liberal toppings.

Great location, clean comfortable room, courteous staff

Enjoyed our stay at Basecamp Lodge. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location is perfect! Walking distance to the popular Bagel shop (next door). The room was well appointed with two very comfortable queen beds. We could hear the train in the distance but it wasn’t distracting or bothersome. It never kept us awake. (The hotel kindly provided earplugs, just in case). The hospitality area had a fancy coffee, tea, cappuccino, etc machine, an ice machine, a tea kettle with various types of teas and a microwave. The room has a refrigerator and a coffee maker. We would’ve loved to have a microwave in there too. The shower was strong and invigorating with nice bath products. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The next time we’ll try the Basecamp Resort next door. It has a hot tub on the third floor (no elevator, steps are outside). A word of advice: if you have trouble climbing stairs, request a room on the first floor. There are no elevators.

Nice big room, perfectly maintained and clean washroom. Location is awesome, staff is very friendly and helpful.
