Very good property and excellent staff. Enjoyed our stay and lovely walks around the lake and even saw a grizzly bear with cubs

So. Very. Disappointing.

Excited to be in the Dark Sky Area that is Jasper, I stepped out of my motel-style room after the sun had gone down — only to be greeted by lights EVERYWHERE. A huge, extremely bright light outside every. Single. Room. Bright lights illuminating every. Single. Building. Be forewarned. If you’re hoping to enjoy starry skies, this is not the place to stay.

Great Lodging and a Amazing Grizzly Sighting!

Great Lodging and a Amazing Grizzly Sighting!
Pyramid Lake Lodge is a lovely place to stay with nice accommodations and an natural setting. The absolute highlight of our trip was a visit by the grizzly bear "Poh" and her two cubs! It made our stay truly unique. The lodge features a convenient in-house dining option at Aalto, though it is on the more expensive side.

What a lovely place!

The hotel enjoys a beautiful location, on Pyramid Lake. Rooms are spacious, tidy. There is a gas fireplace and air conditioning. You can park easily. The stay also includes an hour of canoe rental or bicycle rental.
The restaurant is not super cheap, but both dinner and breakfast are very tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are in order. Only small minus: very poor service and wifi.

Beautiful Stay

Th lodge sits right in front of the lake - which makes it very charming and convenient - if you want enjoy the lake. The staff was very accommodating to my needs and attentive. My room overlooked the Pyramid Mountains. The restaurant in the property was delicious too!
