Nice Hotel for a reasonable price

Stayed here for a long weekend in August 2026. The hotel and my room was nice, clean, and modern. The mini fridge unfortunately didn’t work and the shower / tub combo design was odd to me (high tub wall so stepping in and out could be an issue if the floor was wet and the glass door only covered 2/3 or the length of the tub and water still leaked out onto the floor). My room was on the 1st floor ,which was a level above the street level. They provided ear plugs because it can be noisy due to the hotel being close to a number of bars and restaurants. The person working concierge was not friendly nor welcoming when I first tried to check-in a little early. When I eventually checked in, the front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. The bellhop staff was also great. Location was in a good central location. 20-30 minute walk to Mount Royal, Old Montreal, and the Village.

As we are located in the heart of downtown Montreal, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and entertainment, some outside noise can occasionally be expected. While this is unfortunately beyond the hotel’s control, we provide earplugs as an additional option to help ensure our guests’ comfort.
We also regret that your initial interaction with our Concierge/Valet did not reflect the warm and welcoming service we aim to provide. Your feedback is appreciated and will be shared with the team.

Cultural experience to live

We were lucky enough to stay in the Loft Opus. A real journey through time! A magnificent suite, subtly decorated on the theme of Jazz and the 20s/30s. An absolutely unique place.
Set in a historic building full of character, this hotel blends creativity, art and culture with great elegance. Each space is full of carefully thought-out details, and the themed suites offer a real immersion — special mention also for the Dédé Fortin-inspired suite, full of atmosphere and personality.
Everything is refined, warm and distinguished, without ever losing its artistic soul.
Even the pet friendly is exceptional: the pet friendly side is not just an argument, but something that has been thought through down to the last detail.
An original and memorable experience, well beyond just a night in a hotel!

Hotel was lovely and so were the staff. There was an odd smell in the lobby like a damp pool type of smell which was there everyday but there is no pool at the hotel. Other than that, great location and lovely place to stay.

Well situated hotel - about 20 min walk to the old town . Overall staff was excellent ( gentleman working Valet was great ). Nice room - good shower .

The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. There are some definite worn areas on the furniture and the rooms, but the room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable.
