Family Vication

We stayed at the Element West by Doha hotel with our family for 18 nights, from May 10th to May 18th, 2026. When I first arrived, it was around 7:00 pm. Despite sending messages beforehand and specifying my requests, none of them were fulfilled; they hadn't even read the message I sent two days earlier. We moved to a new room on the evening of the third day and were comfortable. There was an employee named Jay at the reception who immediately fulfilled all our requests. I especially thank Jay for his dedication to his job and hope he gets promoted. The other reception staff, especially the women working during the day, seemed to be doing their jobs reluctantly. I can't forget the looks they gave us every time we went there, wondering what we would ask for. The hotel's breakfast was very good and there were very few people. We also thank the restaurant staff: Betty, Cindy Pravin, Sidik, Adil, Chancy, Nadem, and Shafin. The hotel has a very good location. There's a beautiful mosque right in front and it's very close to the beach. There were some minor issues with the elevators. Overall, it's a nice hotel in a good location; I recommend it.

Great stay.

We arrived at the hotel early at seven after a long flight, and we were welcomed so kindly. We were able to have breakfast and then go directly to the room and sleep for a while. The people at the reception were super nice.
At breakfast, we were warmly welcomed every morning.
A big thank you to Betty, Cinderella, Asmita, and Nasem. You all made our stay truly delightful!
The pool was wonderfully warm, and the lifeguards there were also very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
A great hotel, wonderfully soft beds, great view, delicious food, and above all, great staff. We would love to come back.

Good morning breakfast at Shikimiki

Betty and Cindy were so gracious and attentive to wait on us. Breakfast was filling. The cook made delicious omelet and hash brown. The ambiance is fresh and the place is spot clean.
