We travelled as a group of 5 (a couple plus friends) from Canada & Switzerland and were blown away by the hospitality of Magda, Vincent, Dela/Tony and their family for their hospitality and care for their property to make it comfortable and enjoyable for guests. They are the sweetest, kindest people and we all enjoyed our stay. The rooms and bathrooms are clean & comfortable, with seaside patios with incredible views. The loungers and sitting areas provided many options for sitting in the sun or shade when enjoying the pool (and providing beach towels to use was helpful for travellers). The breakfast buffet was so yummy, especially the homemade warm pastries that changed each day and many other healthy options, including various egg dishes cooked-to-order. As many reviews mentioned, the family was wonderful at driving us to and from town (a 4 min drive but up the hill 15 min walk) which saved us €25 each time (cost of larger taxi for 5 ppl), especially as we didnt want to walk up the road (no sidewalk) at night with cars. We would HIGHLY recommend staying here vs. in the busy, noisy and crowded (while beautiful) old town since it is very accessible to get to old town but Dela hotel provides serene peace and relaxation. Stop looking and book here already :)

Relaxing, Beautiful and Accommodating
We stayed at Dela in early June for two nights. It was a wonderful visit with beautiful sea views and amazing hosts. Vincent drove us back and forth to town many times, less than 5 min drive. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this enough as a perfect choice in Hvar.

So Hvar So Good
We stayed for 2 nights in September. The Dela is a bit out of town--but don"t worry--Magda and Vincent will be sure to take care of getting you back and forth from town. The room had a great view with a balcony and the pool area had good vibes. Great breakfast on offer every day. The Dela was a great base for our stay on Hvar. Highly recommend.

A gem in Hvar
We had an amazing time here. The hotel is family run & everyone is so nice and helpful. Vincent was fantastic bringing us in and out of town. Rooms are lovely with views of the sea. The pool & pool area is tranquil to relax at after walking around Hvar. Breakfast is gorgeous with fresh home cooked food provided. 15 min walk into Hvar on a busy road but we enjoyed walking in for dinner at night & the hotel will bring you in and out of town free at any time. Highly recommend!

We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town though. Being higher the benefit is the magnificent view over the sea and the islands with spectacular sunsets. The room itself was very comfortable, with a modern bathroom and fantastic terrace balcony. The pool area is very relaxing with comfortable sunbeds. We chose breakfast and that again was excellent, with choice from a menu and a whole range of delights! Special thank you to Vincent for the great music over breakfast! There is also a pool table, ping pong and a gym, though we didn't have time. Would certainly recommend and if we're ever back in Hvar would only consider Dela!
