Relaxing, Beautiful and Accommodating
We stayed at Dela in early June for two nights. It was a wonderful visit with beautiful sea views and amazing hosts. Vincent drove us back and forth to town many times, less than 5 min drive. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this enough as a perfect choice in Hvar.

So Hvar So Good
We stayed for 2 nights in September. The Dela is a bit out of town--but don"t worry--Magda and Vincent will be sure to take care of getting you back and forth from town. The room had a great view with a balcony and the pool area had good vibes. Great breakfast on offer every day. The Dela was a great base for our stay on Hvar. Highly recommend.

A gem in Hvar
We had an amazing time here. The hotel is family run & everyone is so nice and helpful. Vincent was fantastic bringing us in and out of town. Rooms are lovely with views of the sea. The pool & pool area is tranquil to relax at after walking around Hvar. Breakfast is gorgeous with fresh home cooked food provided. 15 min walk into Hvar on a busy road but we enjoyed walking in for dinner at night & the hotel will bring you in and out of town free at any time. Highly recommend!

Book this family run business who will make you feel at home!
I cannot recommend this family run business enough, it is so wholesome and the owners are so accommodating to their guests needs.
Rooms:
The room we had was lovely and spacious with modern furnishings and excellent AC. The balcony we had was spacious and offered a lounge area and a seating area with a great view.
Accommodation:
The surrounding communal areas were fantastic. There were so many nice touches that they could have not bothered with to save money but they had them anyway to make the experience for the guests better. For example, they had seating areas, children’s toys, table tennis, pool table, books, maps, comfortable sun lounger cushions and a coffee machine (this was the only thing we paid extra for $2 for a coffee throughout the day).
The whole place was immaculate. The pool and surrounding tiled areas were spotless and constantly attended to if there had been rain or notable leaves.
The family also offered breakfast at €18 per person which was a fantastic price for the variety of continental goods supplied, as well as a choice of a hot dish from their a la cart menu. €18 may seem expensive to some people but for what was on offer and seeing how expensive Hvar was elsewhere this was actually a fantastic price.
They also offered a shuttle service to and from the town between the hours of roughly 8am-10pm. I felt that they never stopped working! It was only a 3-5 min drive but saved us 40 mins of walking hills or steps in the heat!
The owners:
They were all family and it was so wholesome to watch them help each other out and this extended to their guests. Their kind and caring nature, their friendly and chatty manner made us feel right at home. They gave recommendations and they also didn’t treat us as a same-sex couple any differently which is an important consideration for our travels. Vincent also took us to the fortress/castle one evening so that we could go and see the sunset- he was proud of this place as it was somewhere he often visited when he was a young boy and it was endearing to hear him speak so fondly.
I would highly recommend this place and it would be the only place I would come back to if I visited Hvar again!

Book, stay & enjoy this family run gem
This family run hotel with Magda & Vincent at the helm is a gem. Our room No4, was clean & modern, huge TV and comfy bed, over looking the pool. With a 20:30 ferry crossing we arrived at the hotel at 22:30 to find Magda waiting on the doorstep to settle us in, gave us the WiFi & breakfast times. Cooked to order with cereals, cakes and fresh breads, the coffee selections & fresh juices make this a more than satisfactory breakfast. Vincent will help with anything, from making coffees to providing a free taxi service back & forth into town, takes 5 minutes, he took us us to the castle with a history lessen of Croatia along the way. This family really appreciates your custom and go out of there way to help, organising food deliveries for the night we were stuck in due to a bad storm, helping arrange ferry crossings to our next island when our original was cancelled, Magda husband even drove us 30 minute to another part of the island so we could catch the ferry over to Brac for our next stay !! Enjoy this Croatian gem.
