Great host, terrific service, good location

We stayed here for three nights in july and the host was extremely helpful. Can't say enough about this. He helped arrange an early check-in, gave directions to an electronics store, came with extra towels, anything. The cleaning lady was very helpful as well.
The location is good, witihn walking distance of the beach and the harbor. Our place did not match the photos (I think he rents out two units) but was about as nice. We had our own little garden in the front, a kitchen with most amenities, and a well needed AC. Recommended.

Small unit with limited facilities near train and bus stations

I booked this unit because of its description, photo and reviews. We were very disappointed on arrival because our studio did not match these. The photo showed a bright, roomy unit, and the favourable reviews matched this. On arrival, we found our unit was dingy and small, although the small bathroom had been modernised and equipped well.
Be warned ... later we learned that this owner has two units at the premises, one far better than the other. The unit description and photo are of the better unit, but they are listed at the same price as if they are equal.
We have travelled widely in recent years, and I have submitted numerous reviews, but this is the first time that I have felt a property to be misrepresented.

Fairly good

Apartment was ok. Small but did the job. Good location to the bus/train/ferry. Close to supermarkets. The person the greeted us was lovely and gave us some good tips about Split! They left us a bottle of wine, it was delicious!

Douglas

Took 15 minutes to come up to the studo when we go there. The place was clean and ok cooking equipment. The tap in the kitchen dipped , couldn't stop it and the shower had NO hot water...... NOT happy.

Excellent service and room!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Although the owner wasn't around in time but he got his Mother who lives upstairs to open the room for us and got his Friend to guide us where to go and what to eat and provided a map for the city. Promptly replenish the toiletries after I text him. Even provided detergent for the washing machine and a rack to hang out clothes out at the balcony to try which was fantastic. All in all very satisfied with the room as it was very clean just that the aircon is placed in a corner so the room won't cool down as fast as I want it to be but no problem at all as you can bring ur beer to the balcony to cool yourself down.
Very close to the train station as well and if you go by the shortcut to cut across the train station, the apartment is within 5min walk from the train station.
Will definitely stay again if I am visiting split..
