Wauw experience

A lovely experience - friendly reception, nice and clean rooms, beautiful and beautiful surroundings and wauw a delicious food. The food and staff are at a high level - really great food where there is demand for the details - we were all 6 blown away by overserver Jane and the fine service in the middle of the bustle.

Stay with Deal

This was an experience in a time pocket where you used good materials that have become a bit Retro for it is still
Service is there but no more
Dinner at a table that was too big many guests moved so they sat next to each other
The food was good but the dessert that was with rabarber was stone-hard ☰ we made the waiter notice but he hit it it it was a bit pjat ☰
Breakfast tjaa fresh baked bread that was heavy and rug bread that was taken out of the bag
It seemed like you should clean up after yourself which in a way is okay
But if you then empty the cart a little more often it would clearly be a plus
Though you could also sit outside in the good weather it would help if you beat the umbrella up
But a nice visit with plenty of nature right outside the door

Never again...

Very dark and generally sad atmosphere everywhere except in the entrance/foyer and the restaurant.
The room was OLD, worn, smelling of smoke, dirty, damaged furniture in the bathroom, poor humidity and just all in all really not very appealing. I slept in my clothes simply because I doubted the hygiene of the bed linen (the cover was too small, so the duvets and pillowcases stuck out)
Breakfast was so-so.
Not worth the money in any conceivable way, even if it had been free, I would have chosen differently due to the condition of the room. I am not coming there again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Overall nice stay, meeen.... Disappointing dinner experience

Overall nice stay, good hotel, good location me... We had been looking forward to dinner at the Kysthotellet, but unfortunately it was a disappointment on several points. Upon arrival we were told that due to staff shortage, one had chosen the buffet rather than table serving – it was a pity, but we had understanding for it. The promised welcome drink, however, was completely absent, without any explanation, we lived without, and could not properly ask for it since the staff was not properly available. The buffet itself seemed opaque, as there were no signs indicating the different dishes, and everything was mixed together. The chopsticks were half empty, and the main dish was severely lacking – only two pieces of sad chicken, potatoes that had obviously stood out for a long time, the same was the case with the spit bowl, everything was lunky not hot in any way When we asked for more and warmer meat, the waiter came back and noticed a little crazy that he had “sorged for the beef filet” because we had waited. However, the meat was clearly reheated – you could clearly see steak scorpions on the red side of the meat. Overall an experience with room for clear improvement, both in terms of food, information and communication to the guests. It should be said that the breakfast buffet was really nice, with nice selection

We are a very happy and happy family

We were 2 families left together (4 adults and 4 children) and had 3 nights. We had two family rooms which were much larger than expected. The staff was really nice and the service level very high. During the entire stay, there was free tea, coffee and water, you could serve yourself with. The location was also really good. We are very sorry we didn't have more time at the hotel (we spent two days in Djurs summerland) so we could explore the area (strand and forest) more, or enjoy several of the hotel's benefits, like billiards and petanque.
