Lovely hotel in excellent setting overlooking.
This hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking the fjord. Although it is largely a conference centre we visited out of season so we were sharing the hotel largely with tourists.
The hotel is large and sprawling but each landing has its own breakout area where people were sitting reading or playing cards and the general atmosphere was extremely chilled and relaxed. In the evening we were able to see a spectacular sunset over the fjord from our corridor. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the hotel and room were spotlessly clean. I have knocked off a star for the limited menu in the restaurant with only one starter main and dessert but thankfully we liked everything so we were ok. There is also food available in the bar. We only had one pillow but you can request further ones either soft medium or firm .
The hotel is out of the centre of Roskilde but this is good as it is quiet and there is no road noise which can disturb sleep. We will definitely return.

Good value handy hotel for a stop over with bikes.
value for money hotel with attentive staff. Restaurant is very good . games and puzzles freely available in the bar area. we travelled in on tourer bikes and were well looked after.

Not really good walking distance to much but very nice hotel. Great breakfast and liked the free water stations during the day.

Only recommended in the context of a conference.
A beautiful, generously designed hotel. However, it is only recommended if you visit it in the context of an event or a conference. As an individual guest, you simply will not be served in the restaurant and are consistently referred to the bar. The selection of dishes in the bar is.... Additionally, the bar is completely overcrowded, as the hotel is large and the restaurant turns away so many guests. The selection at the bar is meager, burgers, toast, and similar items. Also, the red wine from the refrigerator! Excuse me, but they have no idea here!!!
Moreover, visiting another restaurant is only possible by taxi due to the location.
A well-run establishment should also be able to serve its guests outside of a convention.

Nice “hyggeligt” Hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights.
Good service at check in.
Rooms not meant for a family but otherwise ok.
Great breakfast. Full spread. No live cooking stations.
Nice car/common area (but closed on Sundays like the room service are too ♂️).
Remember to book room cleaning when you are there. It does not happen automatically.
Will consider coming back next time in Roskilde.
