Like at home

Great time shared with Marisol who is a lovely host
We had a family room with a beautiful terrace and stunning views of the Bierge lands. Breakfast that with local products, it feels like home
Marisol had the delicate attention to prepare us the picnic because we went out canyoning

Quiet, peaceful retreat in a beautiful location with lovely hosts

We stayed here when visiting Salto de Bierge. The lady we met was so friendly and our stay felt so relaxed. Rooms were basic but clean and adequate with a lovely balcony offering lovely views of Bierge and the surrounding fields and mountains. We chose to eat dinner and breakfast here and the produce was local, great quality and really tasty. The dinner prepared for us was the best we have eaten on our trip, served on the terrace on a balmy evening, making for a perfect dining experience. Our stay felt like a peaceful retreat and I would highly recommend this place to those seeking a place of simple goodness in a lovely part of Spain.

Charming countryside, comfortable stay

Hotel Era Conte is a hidden gem in a small town. Our room had a beautiful view of fields of ripe wheat and a nearby hill, crowned by an old church with homes surrounding it. Our hostess was friendly and kind, as well as an amazing cook. I’m on a reduced sodium diet, and she created delicious salt-free dishes. The decor is a bit dated, but our room was clean and inviting. I will definitely come here again if I’m in the area.

naked blanket with red drops on.

The hotel is quite new and nicely decorated, one lady welcomed us with lovely smiles but I will not go back because:
1) furnitures covered in a thin layer of dust, probably because May is not a high season? The terrace of the room was not appealing at all, one table and some chairs all looked poor, white rubbish at one corner.
2) no internet in our room, had to go downstairs. But nobody told us in advance or anywhere notified. So They have in-room wifi with near-to-zero internet.
3) at 22:30 I started to prepare beds, to find blankets without covers, mine had red drops on the white naked blanket, I am so sure they were blood, this really made me feel sick. But because it was late and also because I always vote with feet, I said nothing.
4) we were having breakfast, the same nice lady came to ask if we wanted sandwiches for kids. I greedily thought they would be made from leftover of the breakfast since their kitchen was closed for lunch or dinner due to few customers, and she didn't mention any price anyway. We ended up with 4 sandwiches €24. In another hotel restaurant ( just one block away, 3 mins walk) you pay €16 for a nice menu, who wants to pay €6 for a sandwich with only olive oil and hams? One couple at next table was offered a sandwich as well, they were obviously surprised, It "looked" so friendly, at that moment.
But that region is quite okay. There are several places of interest nearby. Will chose another hotel which is clean and better organised next time.

Lovely quite location

Great food and family friendly. The breakfast buffet is great with local produce.
A great place to unwind after a day canyoning with Expediciones.
The rooms are quite, clean and the beds firm.
Definitely recommended
