Decent hostal very close to the main city beach

We stayed here for 1 night in July.
Pluses:
- Excellent location very close to Cambrils's main beach
- Very kind staff
- Great rooftop terrace
- Refrigerator in room
- Quiet and clean
Minuses:
- A bit overpriced for a midweek stay
- Rooms are VERY small
- No kettle or coffee/tea in room
- Not a lot of outlets
Overall, it's a good place to stay if other, less expensive, hostals near the beach are unavailable.

Everything we needed for a stop over

Our first time stoping at 2*…
Hostal Platja
Great for our 1 night stay as we were passing through Cambrils , travelling .
Clean , white bedding
Small room
A/C
Fridge
Toiletries provided
No kettle etc but you get coffee / tea & there’s a microwave on level 3 to use .
Lift to all floors
Roof top terrace
Close to good restaurants & Bars & the Marina .
Vincent the owners grandson very helpful & friendly .
Parking just a 5 minute walk away .

Very clean and comfortable

We had a very pleasant few days here. Room was comfortable, if a little small. Spotlessly clean throughout. The rooftop terrace is a really nice place to relax in the evening. The bathroom is very compact! The location is great, as the Hostal is very close to the marina and all the lovely restaurants in the area.
