Super nice stay hotel Sultan anno 2025
The hotel was really nice and clean as well as the rooms and beds were really good neat bathrooms, friendly staff can be clearly recommended.

Absolutely unacceptable hygiene standard even for a 2-star hotel
Absolutely unacceptable hygiene standard even for a 2-star hotel.
I recently stayed at the Sultan in Can Picafort, Mallorca, and I was shocked by the appalling level of hygiene.
First of all, the most disgusting thing were the towels. They were grey, threadbare, and stained. It looked and felt filthy, and I was genuinely repulsed to even touch it.
Here are some other points that contributed to my terrible experience:
The sheets were equally old, thin, and stained. They were not changed once over a three-night stay.
The breakfast was extremely sparse and the staff (owner?) behaved aggressively, actively instructing employees to watch guests for "theft." There was barely anything to eat, so I don't know what they were worried about anyone stealing!
I understand this is a 2-star hotel, but even so, this is completely unacceptable in 2026. Guests deserve clean and hygienic accommodation and respectful treatment, regardless of the hotel's star rating. We are paying customers, not charity cases.
I will not be staying here again and I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel until they sort out their hygiene problems and improve the owner treatment of the guests.

Good
I stayed here for 1 week in September and it was a good experience! Room and hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some spoke more English than others which wasn't too much of a problem as my friend is fluent in Spanish so that made things a lot easier but even still they were all very friendly and polite! There is always someone on the reception desk too! I had a great view from my room. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby and pool area so i had to spend more money on data for my phone. Pool was separate to the hotel which i found a bit strange at first but it wasn't that big of deal was a quick and quiet walk to across the road. Pool area was nice too. The location was ideal!! Literally less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and main strip of bars, restaurants and shops! Special shoutout to the older gentleman who was on the reception desk over night, he was lovely and made both me and my friend feel safe when coming back from the bars/ club!

Pleasantly surprised, great for 2*
I felt that this hotel needed an updated review as I was pretty apprehensive once I read through after booking.
Hotel:
The hotel has most definitely had a refurbishment, the rooms are clean and modern with a walk in shower, storage space and desk area, there is a fridge and safety deposit box at an additional expense. We had a balcony with a sea view (6th floor).
Unfortunately there was no WiFi as far as I’m aware but the smart TV was easily accessible with a mobile phone hotspot so we were able to utilise the apps.
The breakfast offered was minimal but equally everything you needed, there were both hot and cold options, pastries and coffee/juice machine. It runs from around 8-10.
The pool area is accessed through the back of the hotel, about two steps across the road. It is small but there are sunbeds and chairs to use. It is open from around 9-19:00. We didn’t use the pool as the hotel is so close to the beach but it would be adequate enough if you were not a beachgoer.
Note: there is a tourist tax to pay on arrival.

Hello, I stayed on the 6th floor in room 604. The view was amazing. Now about the room – the bathroom was a disaster, the water barely came out of the shower. The internet doesn’t work on the 6th floor. If you want coffee in the morning in your room, you have to pay for a kettle. There are no utensils or cups in the room. The rooms are cleaned every day, but the towels were not changed during my entire one-week stay.
However, for a 2-star hotel and if you’re staying in room 604, it’s actually pretty good. The location is excellent – just a 2-minute walk to the sea. The pool is small, but it’s enough since there aren’t many people around it.
