An Unforgettable Stay with an Amazing Team

We stayed at La Ciguenya for seven nights in July 2026 during our very first visit to Ibiza, and choosing this hotel turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip.
We discovered La Ciguenya by chance after reading its excellent reviews, and we are very happy to say that it fully lived up to our expectations. It is a small, charming, and very well-maintained hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean, and we immediately felt comfortable and well looked after.
What impressed us most was the young and highly dedicated team. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Their enthusiasm and commitment made our stay truly special.
Although the surrounding area is very tourist-oriented, we were extremely happy to have chosen La Ciguenya. Compared to the larger hotels opposite, it offers a much more personal, peaceful, and authentic experience.
We would especially like to highlight the excellent NIU Restaurant and the beach bar. The quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere were outstanding throughout our stay.
A particularly memorable moment was the day of the FIFA Men’s World Cup final. Even though Spain was playing and it was such an emotional sporting event, the beach bar team remained fully dedicated to their guests, creating an incredible atmosphere while providing excellent service. Their professionalism and passion were truly remarkable.
We had a wonderful stay at La Ciguenya and would happily return. A big thank you to the entire team for making our first visit to Ibiza such a memorable experience. We highly recommend this beautiful small hotel to anyone looking for quality, charm, and exceptional hospitality.

Perfect accommodation and meal options.

Simply perfect stay, service was top-notch, unbeatable location, very complete and quality breakfast. Nothing to envy from the large four-star hotels that surround it. Second stay, and we will definitely repeat when we return to the island. I recommend dinner at your restaurant NIU (save room for dessert, the caramelized ensaimada with orange blossom ice cream is spectacular). Also, the Cigüe bar offers mojitos, the truffle burger, and the non-bravas potatoes do not disappoint.

Portinatx is the best town to stay in, on Ibiza

We spent 3 weeks at Ses Soques Apartments in Portinatx but we only spent the last night at the hotel, so I booked the cheapest room which was very clean, modern and had no view. If you are staying for a holiday, book a sea view room. Parking is a 7 minute walk away at Public free parking, we had no problems getting a parking spot during our June stay, but of course it's very busy on weekends. Breakfast is in Nui restaurant, with its lovely view and the selection was very good. Small pool with limited seating but we did find either deck chairs or sun loungers when we wanted to visit the pool area. Whilst the Hotel isn't well signposted Nui restaurant is, walk up the stairs and Reception is then obvious. Book a table ahead of time at Rebrots, it's the best restaurant in Portinatx.

Romantic and quiet

Very nice small hotel ideally located in a cove, on the beach of this charming village.
Excellent welcome, clean rooms, good bedding.
It is very quiet.
Exceptional sea views from some rooms or from the restaurant where very complete and good quality breakfasts are offered. Just like the restaurant, excellent.
Parking nearby. Only downside: it is little indicated so not always easy to find.
