Great staff, wonderfully located for historic old town. Pet friendly, highly recomended as a city centre base.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to the old town, in a quiet area the views from the rooftop pool were stunning, can’t say enough how great and beautifully served was the breakfast buffet.
One of our favorite and best stays, if we are in Malaga, there is no doubt that that’s where we would stay

Excellent location for walking into centre ,and the port, great location for access to train station. Excellent facilities for a city hotel. Although the pool was small and limited amount of sun beds I think this is due to the time of year. Lovely to have an outdoor pool in a city hotel as they are usually indoors. Highly recommend for a shake break or visit to Malaga. Would definately return

Positive Experience
We stayed one night at the nh malaga after a long travel day before continuing to Marbella. Having very little experience with nh hotels, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but was very pleased. A very solid hotel product at a reasonable price. Excellent location very close to shopping and pedestrian areas.
Check in was quick and easy. Although on the small side, the superior category room was clean, bright and well designed. There was a very small balcony on a noisy street. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious with a large window. Low water pressure was a disappointment.
The restaurant is primarily tapas, but the room service burger was very good. The room service tray placed outside the door as requested by guest services, was still there the next morning.
Breakfast buffet was good and as expected.
I would not hesitate to return.

Staff changed my opinion of stay - response to first review
In response to my initial review. I must advise that the staff were extremely helpful and moved us to a much better room on an upper floor with no noise. They also gifted us things like fresh fruit, water, keepsakes and took breakfast for one morning off the bill. For that I must amend my final rating and commend how they dealt with the situation. If triple glazing was installed on ground floor rooms it may be better for guests as there is a lot of noise from outside. When I looked outside there was actually a homeless person sleeping on a concrete bench next to my window. To the staff and the attentiveness I change my final review to a 5.
