Lovely host, great food, clean rooms

The host was very friendly and helpful. She did everything to accommodate all our requests. We loved the dinner (her rabbit stew was the best we ate), and the breakfast was very nice too. Room was clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. We highly recommend this property.

Clean, good location, but beds from 1920

We were in a triple, three floors up a darkened staircase, with lights only on every other floor.
The room was clean and the host was pleasant.
Breakfast was fair for the price.
BUT, my grandparents slept in beds like these and I did not think that they even made mattresses with steel springs that jingled anymore.
The whole double bed (not a queen, a double) shook every time one of us made the slightest movement. After about 10 minutes, one of us had to move over to the extra single bed in the room. Thank heavens for that or we would never have slept. Actually, the floor would have been better.
Since our primary use of any hotel room is to sleep, the beds were a major problem.

Serene, home comforts and a great setting

Stylish, family run, pension in the snug village of Escalona, a great base for adventures in the surrounding spectacular landscape. Genuine warm hospitality and great food - worth a visit even just for the food.

Fonda Naval completa

Tal como dice el nombre es una Fonda pero hay que decir que está muy bien equipada gente muy amable y el lugar limpio y tranquilo, La verdad es que hay pocos comentarios aquí en TripAdvisor pero tengo que decir que en lugar al menos nosotros nuestra familia volveremos

Déception car période creuse

J'ai réservé dans cet hôtel car tous les avis que j'ai pu lire disait que c'était convivial, qu'on y mangeait bien, que c'était hyper propre, qu'on nous donnait des idées de ballades et bien à part le fait que c'est vrai c'est hyper propre, nous n'avons pas eu le reste. Personne à l'arrivée, il fallait téléphoner. Pas de restauration,j'aurai aimé être avertie pour prévoir, heureusement la restauration de l'hôtel Arnal en face était ouverte, petit déj minimaliste. J'ai hésité entre celui ci et la Casa Vispe et j'aurai du choisir ce dernier puisque restauration ouverte. Nous avons payé exactement le même prix ( 53E) à l'hôtel El Centro à Huesca avec en plus un super petit déj, un super accueil et service et un parking fermé pour voiture et ascenseur et la possibilité de payer par carte, donc en fait le rapport qualité/prix pour Escalona est moins bien puisque il faut prendre la voiture pour aller à Ainsa.
