The chill our family needed

Accessible location.
Beautiful clean rooms. Spacious as well.
Relaxing atmosphere
Staffs are amazinggggg!!! Thank you Rigel, AJ, LJ and Guia!
Buffet breakfast is extensive and delicious.
Beach is peaceful and exclusive. Pool temp is perfect.
Value for money. Will definitely come back.

You need to stay here when you're in Cebu

I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The facilities are excellent, the food was delicious, and the service and atmosphere was consistently outstanding. They even gave me a complimentary upgrade to a suite!
A special thank you to Jerry, the Front Office Manager, for the warm welcome, property tour, and for helping me find a phone charger after I left mine behind in Manila. It was a small gesture that made a big impression.
I recommend booking a room that gives you access to the Executive Lounge. Fer and RJ were always welcoming and made it a great place to unwind with a book (and some free food and drinks!).
Finally, thank you to Roi for his genuine care and authentic personality. Seeing him join the live singer on Sunday evening perfectly captured the warm and enjoyable culture of the team.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. I look forward to returning to Cebu, and will gladly recommend this hotel.

The service is the real star of this resort

I stayed at Mövenpick Mactan for three nights in late June, partly for a friend's birthday celebration at a nearby house, and the location made it the perfect base for that. Close enough to hop over for the party, but with the beach and resort calm to come back to.
The room was immaculate, and the view from the balcony was amazing. Waking up to it every morning set the tone for the day. The beach was beautiful too. Clean, calm, and easy to slip into straight after check-in. The lounge quickly became my favorite spot to unwind in between. Two things I didn't expect to love as much as I did: the signature Chocolate Hour in the afternoons (such a fun Mövenpick touch, I found myself timing my day around it) and the chorizo and peanut bread at breakfast, which sounds unusual but was genuinely one of the best things I ate all stay.
But what truly made this stay was the people. RJ and Guia went above and beyond from start to finish. Warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. My massage with Rose at Spa del Mar was amazing and exactly what I needed. Special thanks as well to Ara, Phoebe, Maria, Hya, and Kiefer, who were all wonderful. This team is the reason I'd come back.
A couple of small notes: some of the facilities are showing their age and could use a refresh, and we were a little sad to have just missed the opening of the Ibiza bar. It looked like it would've been a great addition to the stay. All the more reason to return.
As an Accor member, the recognition and care here stood out even among other properties I've stayed at. Highly recommended for anyone flying into Cebu.

Great experience at Movenpick

We love the hotel location, the atmosphere and we were even upgraded to a one-br suite with a nice view of the ocean! The staffs were all professionals and were very courteous, everyone was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Both check-in and check-out experience went very smooth. The hotel was generally clean; however, there was no bidet in the toilet. We were even afforded a late checkout!
