Nice and well located
Bed and Breakfast very well located, in the countryside but near the tourist sites, Padirac, Rocamadour, Autoire, etc.... Room very nice and functional chalet. Balcony with infinite views of the countryside. Breakfast quite complete. The only downside, the staircase to climb to the rooms is very steep but at least it takes you up Rocamadour or down into the abyss of Padirac.

So amazing
we arrived and was welcomed by the owner gentleman , he introduced us to his wife who was a very welcoming lady, they built this dream place 18 months ago and it was to their high standards, very comfortable 1st floor room with spacious on suite. veranda from the room overlooked vast area of farm land.... miles from anywhere.. so quiet..... swim pool looked inviting.... we only stayed one night on our way south, wish we could have stayed longer...
only one drawback could be is the steep tight slight spiral staircase would be unsuitable for people with a mobility problem

Perfect. Relaxing, plenty in area, lovely place
We are a 40 something British couple. We flew to Brive and hired a car. Brive is about an hour away. Really quick airport to get through. Very easy to find Autoire.
Bed and breakfast ticked every box. Beautiful setting, quiet, lovely helpful hosts, plenty for breakfast, balcony overlooking garden, small clean pool, lounge chairs to relax in, small hot tub, bbq to rent, towels provided, hair dryer provided, feels like a wooden lodge, garden well kept and spacious, fan in room, DVDs, TV (french channels), clean room, small fridge, wooded area to walk around, walking distance to Autoire (not a five minute walk though!), rooms up the narrow stairs would not suit elderly as the stairs are narrow.
Location was great for us. We like walking and old villages. Canoeing down Dordogne was fab. Autoire pretty village, walking to waterfall, castle at Bretenoux, Rocamadour old town, Carranec village. It's a place for a quiet kind of holiday, which was exactly what we wanted. On return journey to Brive we stopped at Martel, nice old town.
Some of the other guests were return visitors . I would return too. I think that's a good sign!

Try this before buying that Swedish Wood Lodge !!
We found this place in the Middle of NOWHERE, No exaggeration, Nothing was local.
To be fair i'd forgotten what the place looked like, So was surprised by this huge Nordic / Swedish style house amongst all the traditional French houses.
Having never been in one of these places before, It was all new to us.
Our room was quite big, with all you'd expect, With a good bed. The Bathroom, all good. .
Downsides, The house has a Staircase, like the weird ones you sometimes see going up to a loft conversion, That would fail UK Building regs for sure.
The other is that the only "Good" eaterie, is 6-7 kms away,,, But well worth the trip !
Breakfast was good, Internet OK, Didn't try the small outdoor pool. Parking no problem. All in a good clean Slightly different Hotel.

First of all thank you for your comment but L'arrivée, as indicated on the site, is not a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast not situated in the middle of nowhere but in the French countryside with St.Cere at six km. with all its commodities. Furthermore: at Frouge there are at the moment six wooden log homes and twenty-five houses a "parpaign/brick". Only two are traditional/local. The tradional/local buildings are situated in the very lovely villages. They are authentic.and in this region there are five " beautiful villages of France" You have to take your time to visit and enjoy these authentic villages.

super expérience
maisonnette super mignonne , très bien équipée spacieuse et très propre
très bon accueil propriétaires fort sympathiques avec un léger accent qui ne gâche rien
l'endroit est ressourçant calme et très bien situé pour découvrir cette belle région
