Hotel correct

Small hotel "budget" well kept and clean, quite acceptable for a short stay of 2 nights. Closed parking, welcoming and serious staff. No noise but the hotel was not very full that day. Breakfast well stocked.
Well placed also, a bakery and 4 restaurants within walking distance within 300 m.
Double room not very large but bright and well appointed, correct bed, adjustable heating, TV, small but functional bathroom, taps in good condition.
Only downside for me, the sink tray was obviously heavily damaged and the makeshift repair in coarse putty makes bad kind even if functionally there is no leak. If the management reads me I advise to quickly replace this small sink tray, I could have put an extra star

Hotel looks really tired. Admittedly, it is budget, but I wish I’d booked early enough to stay at the Ibis across the road, as they are much cleaner. Hotel smelled really bad, foisty/mouldy cleaning products and a really strong smell of smoke. Room felt damp and floors were sticky. Barely any interaction with staff, but staff friendly and pleasant when we did speak to them. No draught excluder under the badly fitting room door, so the whole room lit up when the light in the corridor kept coming on through the night. Walls and ceilings/floors paper thin and could hear every slight movement and noise from upstairs. Overall, it is in the higher end price bracket of “budget” and I wish I’d spent my money elsewhere.

Avoid this place

To be avoided, a disaster.
Upon arrival, the automatic reception was not working. No soundproofing, the neighbors were extremely noisy until midnight and beyond. A sewer smell in the bathroom which is way too small (shower barely over the toilet) really to be avoided

Perfect for a stage

Very nice hotel, quiet location, perfect for a stop on your way back from vacation. The room is very clean, the bed is equipped with a very good mattress, a nice sized flat screen. The only negative, the toilet is very cramped, the 3 elements are glued to each other

Everything is fine, just a bit disappointed that the machine for water drinks and coffee doesn’t work and there is no place open to buy a bottle of water
