Great stay!

Great experience! I was able to visit Grenoble from top to bottom, the hotel is very well located, the rooms are very spacious, and the staff is pleasant and available. I highly recommend it to you!!

Very dissapointed with staff attitude

Very disappointed after calling ahead to say we would be there at 1:30 am and having also emailed and called in the days prior to be told that someonw mans the desk 24 /7 it wouldnt be a problem.
To arrive at 1:20 am to be told your very late it was not how you should treat guests.
If i had not checked maybe but then i wouldnt have stayed if i had been told no access after 2400.
The attitude was you woke me up!
The shower is also a hand shower not proper shower head fixture.
Expensive for what it is .

Good air conditioning and wifi.
Quiet room
Twin beds available
Spacious bathroom
Cons
Lighting in the room out of order for two days without any evidence that it would get fixed.
Mediocre buffet breakfast
Elevator out of order as we were cheching out

A bad experience at the Hotel Terminus in Grenoble

I had booked months in advance and had specifically requested a room with a walk in shower.
On arrival they allocated us a room with a shower in a very deep bath which had no safety rails.
When we realised this we immediately requested a room with a walk in shower.
They refused as they said they were fully booked.
As we're in our late 70s we decided the room was unsuitable and decided to leave
They then insisted we pay them the full amount for the room even though we hadn't used it.
I contacted booking.com to assist us to get a refund but they were unable to help as we had paid the hotel directly.
Fortunately I have the receipt to show we had paid, but they are not willing to refund us.
Avoid this hotel!

Excellent stopover hotel.

The only small downside regarding the parking, which is €20 from the hotel. It is very difficult to maneuver there given its narrowness, and we will have a problem trying to open the double door of its access in order to exit. Remote control with dead batteries and the need to call the reception to be freed after several minutes of unsuccessful attempts to open it. Nothing too serious, and we were able to settle into a beautiful large room of 25 m² including a spacious bathroom with a double sink, efficient air conditioning, large screen TV, minibar, hairdryer, tissues, and separate toilet. Shower working well but without a glass wall to protect the floor from water splashes. Overall, very good in terms of equipment and comfort. Let's add a large double bed. Uninspiring view of buildings and the private parking lot.
Quiet hotel with excellent bedding. Very decent and complete breakfast. The pastries are truly delicious, and the boxed orange juice is good. There is a bit of everything, even vegetable quiche which we did not touch.
Friendly staff. The friendly son of the owner received our payment and accompanied us to the parking lot to assist me with maneuvering if needed.
