Comfortable, friendly and delicious

Stayed in June one night during week's cycling trip from Cherbourg to Tours. We were looking for comfort and good food and found both here; and a friendly and thoughtful welcome. The best evening meal of the week (which included a Michelin red bib). Lovely fresh fish and seafood; perfectly cooked delicious veal and good breakfast. They knew we were coming by bike and had space in the garage across the road ready; A comfortable bed and original and attractively decorated bedroom. A hotel of charm and personality and a strong positive recommendation from us both. Worth not just a stay but a detour to stay.

extremely comfortable

The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The owner couple are extremely friendly and helpful. It is a good stop on the way to or from Angers, or Nantes, or Mont St. Michel. The rooms have been recently updated.

Un accueil mémorable pour un séjour inoubliable!

J'ai connu l'Amphitryon un jour où je ne me sentais pas très bien et à plus de 350 kms de chez moi. J'ai trouvé ce magnifique hôtel un peu par hasard... c'est une ancienne forge, donc un lieu chargé d'histoire et vraiment très agréable, atypique avec des chambres d'une propreté irréprochable et un confort absolument génial!
Les salles de bain sont décorées avec gout et raffinement ainsi que les chambres par elles mêmes.
L’hôtel est situé en face de l'église, le lieu est super paisible. C'est un hôtel très agréable au printemps car il y a une petite cour paysagée dans laquelle il fait bon s'attarder.
Et que dire de l'accueil de madame et monsieur Pottier? Ce sont les hoteliers les plus adorables au monde! Non je n'exagère pas! Une fois que vous les connaissez vous avez trop envie de revenir les voir! Ils sont soucieux de vous, agréables, d'une gentillesse inouie. J'y ai séjourné à de nombreuses reprises, le lieu est intime et si vous êtes une bande de potes et que vous avez la chance de louer toutes les chambres alors c'est le paradis absolu!
Le petit déjeuner est un régal!
Bon rédiger tout ça m'a trop donné l'envie d'y retourner!
N'hésitez pas si vous voulez séjourner dans un lieu magique en couple, en solo ou entre amis, allez y vous ne serez pas déçus!

symphatisches Wohlfühl-Hotel mit Gourmet-Küche

Kleines familiäres Hotel ( 6 Zimmer) mit angeschlossenem Restaurant
Hoteleigene Parkplätze am Haus vorhanden, übrigens auch eine Fahrrad-Garage
Sehr freundlicher Empfang.
Innenhof gemütlich mit vielen Pflanzen – hinten im Eck ist auch ein Hühnerstall – für Aperitiv
Freundliche Bedienung mit Häppchen zum Drink nach der Ankunft.
Zimmer neu renoviert. Bad mit großer ebenerdiger Dusche,…
Arbeitsplatz mit Steckdose für z.B. Laptop vorhanden, Gute Internet-Konnektivität.
Bett bequem und nicht zu niedrig.
Frühstück mit viel Auswahl: diverse teilweise selbst hergestellte Backwaren, mehrere Marmeladen, Honig, Käse, Wurst, Müsli, Joghurt, Obst…
Restaurant auf Gourmet-Niveau. Kleine Karte, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen. Ideal als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg von Deutschland zur Bretagne und zurück.
Tipp: Das Navi versucht gern, die kleineren Straßen dort zu vermeiden. Navigation von Hand hat uns 90 km und 1 Std Fahrt gespart.
