A warm and attentive weekend

I had a great stay at the Hotel Beauséjour Ranelagh. The place is ideally located, in a quiet and pleasant area, close to the metro and close to places to walk. It is both practical and relaxing.
I came with a friend to participate in the Vredestein 20 km race from Paris, and we were delighted with our choice. The staff was extremely welcoming and smiling, which immediately puts at ease. We feel a real attention to detail and a sincere desire to please customers.
The room was clean, comfortable, and the bedding very good quality , we slept very well. The breakfast was personalized and delicious, with good products as we asked. The team even prepared a special breakfast for the riders: cereal bars, takeaway bottles of water, everything was ready by 6 am! This delicate attention really touched us and made our stay even more enjoyable. Food compliments for runners
All in all, it is a small charming and attentive hotel, where you really feel considered. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, warm and well located place in the 16th arrondissement.

Disgraceful!

A disgrace! Avoid at all costs! Taking advantage of people's distress! 9 months pregnant in the middle of a heatwave, I pay €311 for a room! The person at the front desk doesn't apply the discount indicated on the website because they don't know about it... anyway, I say okay, I'll see the manager tomorrow.
A very small attic room on the 6th floor under the roof with a skylight; the very dark decor needs to be redone!

We had specified the exact opposite over the phone, otherwise we wouldn't have mentioned it.
I say that I cannot stay, I am having trouble breathing! I ask to see another room, number 25, but it has an odor problem, truly a horror.
Between the heatwave, the hopelessness of the hotel, and the contradictions, my husband and I leave for the maternity ward.
And it has been ten days now that we have been waiting for a response from the manager, who never calls us back, is impossible to find, unreachable, and never present to discuss things since that night.
I am not asking for a full refund but a goodwill gesture, knowing
that we paid the largest part in cash.
I am the neighbor across the street!
All the employees laugh and give us the runaround, telling us that the famous manager will call us back, but in vain.
It's a shame to have to give a negative review without even being able to discuss it in person.

Bonjour Madame,
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre séjour n'ait pas répondu à vos attentes, particulièrement dans le contexte de votre grossesse et de la période de forte chaleur.
Toutefois, plusieurs affirmations de votre commentaire ne correspondent pas au déroulement des faits.
Le soir de votre arrivée, puis le lendemain, votre époux s'est présenté à la réception afin d'évoquer votre situation. Bien que les conditions de votre réservation ne permettent normalement aucun remboursement après la mise à disposition de la chambre et la visite de plusieurs chambres, nous avons exceptionnellement proposé qu'il revienne le lundi afin de rencontrer la directrice et d'examiner votre demande de geste commercial.
La directrice avait bien été informée et prévoyait de le recevoir. Ce rendez-vous n'a finalement pas eu lieu, votre époux ne s'étant pas présenté.
Quelques jours plus tard, vous êtes venue à la réception en souhaitant rencontrer immédiatement la directrice. Il vous a été indiqué, en toute transparence, qu'elle était absente à ce moment-là. Contrairement à ce que vous écrivez, nos collaborateurs ne se sont jamais moqués de vous ni ne vous ont volontairement fait attendre. Ils vous ont simplement communiqué les informations dont ils disposaient et sont restés courtois tout au long de vos échanges, malgré des propos particulièrement désobligeants à leur égard.
Nous comprenons parfaitement qu'une déception puisse conduire à laisser un avis négatif. En revanche, nous ne pouvons laisser penser que notre établissement ou notre équipe auraient manqué de respect ou cherché à tromper nos clients. Ce n'est ni notre façon de travailler, ni les valeurs que nous défendons au quotidien.
Nous regrettons sincèrement que cette situation n'ait pas trouvé une issue satisfaisante et vous souhaitons, malgré tout, beaucoup de bonheur pour la naissance à venir et une excellente continuation.

Lovely room, beautiful neighborhood. Maria at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly and provided excellent advice for dining options. I will stay here again.
