Wonderful stay in May

This hotel was perfect for our needs. It is located right on a square next to the Sorbonne , surrounded by restaurants, cafes, a block from Luxembourg gardens and near subway stations. You can get to Notre Dame in 15 minutes by foot. The room was perfectly designed using every bit of the space. The breakfast was great and the service friendly and helpful. Thank you to Laurent for always being helpful and providing excellent recommendations.

We can't say enough good things about Rive Gauche. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with lovely areas to sit and read, a fabulous breakfast nook area, and more. The rooms are designed for efficiency, and ours was spotless and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful as we navigated our way to various spots. Taxis were called and arrived in moments. Our final drive to the airport was waiting ahead of time. This is a boutique hotel that goes beyond the basics in terms of professionalism and accommodations. We would choose Rive Gauche again in a heartbeat.

Nice place

Really nice hotel with the most beautiful location.
The only minus is a hotel is a bit worn out. The staircase seems like it's a bit on the brake, and then you just put a little extra rug over it to hide it.
We felt there was a lack of a place to stay in the lobby, for example for a game after a long day out in town. There were snacks/sliks in the lobby. Which was delicious.
The room was fine. Again a little worn out. But there was so nice and clean every single day. The minibar, however, could be really cool.
And then there's pretty sound. Like you can hear when someone else's alarm clock vibrates in another room.
But we'd love to come back. It was a wonderful base and it is perfectly located for many sights.

Conveniently Located Gem with Great Staff

A week in Paris with the family. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, speak excellent English (and they encourage you to speak French in a friendly way) and are very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located at Place de la Sorbonne - walking distance to Notre Dame and other sites. The hotel was very clean and felt very private. There are not many rooms on each floor, and the hotel sits on a plaza back from the main avenue, so it is quiet. This hotel will be our default for Paris for future trips.

I stayed here with my 2 daughters for 3 nights and we really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The property is in a good location near the gardens.
