Hotel de Sully

Hotel de Sully was a private mansion built in the Louis XIII style of construction. It shows the wealth of the residents in the area. When guests arrived they went into a large court yard and could look through to the gardens. These
mansions we very prestigious.

Great location but bare bones, depressing room with no amenities

The property was quite grimy and in poor repair. The bathroom sink and shower drained very slowly and at one point the sink was plugged. I had to dig out a plunger from the area beside the reception to get the water flowing out of the sink. In the drain I discovered someone had lost a lid for lotion or bottle which slowed down the flow but all the nasty stuff that had collected around the lid was what I managed to clear away.
The wifi was very slow on the first night and it stopped working on the next morning and did not work for the next two nights and days.
The shower head is not properly fixed to the hose so the water sprayed out of the side of the hose and the shower overflowed onto the floor (or leaked). We had to use a towel to keep the water from flushing into the apartment from the washroom.
My wife is covered in bites from little critters (I think she has an allergy to them and my daughter and I don’t taste as good as she does because we escaped relatively unscathed).

Opinions

Better than I thought. The important point when I go somewhere is above all to visit the place and the location was perfect for me.
The hotel is very close to a metro station. The bus stop located just outside the hotel plus you can go to the Eiffel Tower in 20 minutes.

Receptionist were super nice. Budget hotel good for 1 night but a bit expensive for a 1 star hotel.
Need some renovations
