Very good hotel.

A very good hotel with excellent hospitality. Do not miss breakfast a real treat with local cheeses, very good bread and lots of good things. Very good bedding and good living space , go with confidence you will not be disappointed!

Everything's fine.

The hotel lives up to its name!
Wine connoisseurs know that you can pay for the room with a bottle of RANGEN!
The hotel is ideal for sightseeing. Room should be chosen to the courtyard. A secure parking space with wardrobes is also available. Breakfast is clearly the highlight of the hotel: the cheese counter would be a credit to any upper class hotel.
Super.

Disadvantageous location but somewhat charming

Hotel du Rangen is located at a main road, next to a railroad crossing with ringing alarm and the walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors opening the curtains. If you don't mind that this hotel isn't the most quiet one you will find a place with the old charm of the past century. The lady at the reception didn't speak any other language than France but with hands and feet we could communicate pretty well and had some fun making ourselves understood. She explained me that there is a vending machine with soft drinks upstairs. My room was very clean and snug, the bathroom a bit antiquated but charming. I just noticed that there was no shower gel but therefore two packs of shampoo. I had my own shower gel with me so this didn't matter much to me. When I left I noticed a non-paying hotel guest who laid at the end of the floor next to the door to the fire stairs. He seemed to like laying there in the sun. It was an old and very cuddly tomcat.

Bad experience

Too expensive for what it is. The lady at the reception didn't speak english.I've been misinformed about the breakfast. The room was too noisy in the morning, you don't need alarm, tram will wake you up anyway. I wouldn't go back there.

Very friendly

Set on a back street in the very attractive town of Thann the hotel was comfortable the staff friendly and the continental breakfast lovely. They do not Serve evening meals but it appears they have connection with the restaurant across the road, hotel France. Which had a great menu and delicious food. Catering for 6 very different needs. Biker friendly clean and did the job. It was fully booked and popular.
