Do it to yourself!
So for 3 days we have been hosting one of the suites in Vilos luxury suites I would like to share our experience as we stayed endlessly pleased the room spacious end chalet you creates a strong sense of tranquility and relaxation... is functional from every point of view have thought of everything possible that someone may need on a trip to here! Their staff is excellent!!! Especially the girl at the reception! Daily cleaning and changing towels linen!Just congratulations our own accommodation has opened a week we were their 2 guests I wish from the heart to go tapas gt we have a good leg thank you for everything

Demanding cash only and asking for more money than agreed.
I booked this 6 day holiday directly with the owener.
This would have been a one star review, but I am giving one extra star for Mohamed, the very polite, hard working employee who cleaned the rooms. The managment of the two people presenting as the owners was shambolic. They made us feel that they wanted more money than agreed, firstly by demanding that we pay by cash (for obvious reasons) and then (after check-out) they asked for more money than what it was clearly agreed over e-mail on the basis that our child slept on the sofa bed, even though the price we agreed ahead of the trip had included 3 people in the room. The accomodation standard was acceptable, location too, but the lasting impression and experience of staying here has been disappointing because of the behaviour of the owners.

Overrated, unprofessional - avoid staying here in an overpriced hovel
For our stay from June 28th checking out July 2nd - quite the story I have to tell.
While the village this property is situated in is quaint and lovely - any joy that might have been gained was quickly wiped out by the cascade of problems that began even before we tried to 'check in'. Upon arrival in a transfer from the port - we were greeted by... no-one. Couldn't get hold of the owner of this property, and took at least 20 minutes until we knew what was going on - our driver managed to get in touch with someone who knew the owner. If the problems had ended there that would be one thing... but they only spiraled from there. We were then eventually shown to our room by one of the house maids who was out of breath having run from... the beach.
The rooms themselves were fine, relatively clean & organized - more like an AirBnb than a boutique hotel suite / apartment as we were expecting. A myriad of unwashed cutlery & glasses greeted us in the makeshift kitchen. Again - if things had stopped there, I'd be willing to look past it. But oh no - cue the black mould growing in the top of the shower... Oh & did I mention that upon turning on the shower, the pipe was busted & would spray everywhere? We were warned by the 'head of housekeeping' a polite gentlemen who was doing his best despite the clear lack of protocol or professional management that was implemented at Vilos Suites that after 6PM the hot water was rationed so to speak, but an exploding shower pipe wasn't quite what I expected. Having alerted him to the mold and busted pipe issues - they were resolved by the next morning.
However - the hot water remained elusive for the rest of our stay, and given the relative price we were paying per night - that just isn't up to standard.
This sounds like a lot of complaints - and it's true, but at this price point, and with such a lack of apology for these issues from the owner, I want to make sure nobody else has a similar experience. Another element of our not so tranquil stay was the round the clock construction that was ongoing at Vilos Suites as they're expanding next door. Local laws do say that construction is permitted, but only during working hours. With a five year old in tow - it is beyond unacceptable to have drilling, banging and cutting going on past 9:00PM some evenings. We were out most days in any case, but after numerous complaints, it wasn't until our fourth and final night that it ceased.
One more thing to note - on our final night - having been out all day, housekeeping hadn't come to make the beds, replace towels etc... and given it was close to 5:00PM I got the distinct impression they weren't coming. What followed was an aggressive and rude series of messages from the owner, insisting that we must move to another room for our final night as someone else would be staying in our room. The head of housekeeping would help us with our bags and that was that. I explained that wouldn't be happening, and instead was met with anger, rudeness and the assumption that a family of 3 would be bullied into moving UPSTAIRS when we had an early checkout and pickup the next morning.
In summary - unless you're desperate - find somewhere else to stay. Or perhaps give it a few years for Vilos Suites in Milos to have some manners, some grace and actually treat their guests with respect - one of the many things lacking at this property.
P.S. A collection of photos attached - the power supply for the unit was managed by a card reader that was clearly broken; picture 2 - the panel in the bathroom which I assume was supposed to cover the plumbing for the bathroom, had just fallen over one day upon our return. I'll spare photos of the grimy glassware & filthy cutlery.

Most enjoyable star in quiet area
Vaios was a wonderful and helpful host. As our initial reservation at another establishment was double booked, Vaios and his very helpful and friendly staff pulled out all stops to accommodate us the next day in a brand new room with lovely sea views on first floor.
We stayed six nights.
Although not waterfront, there was fast and easy access to beautiful clean swimming spots with few people.
We loved Pollonia. Not crazy busy.
A number of restaurants to choose from within 15 minute easy walk. Yailos was our favorite.
Recommend transfers, car or bike to get around other parts of the island.

Very peaceful spot, clean rooms and right by the water but a little out of the way, recommend booking a car.
