Lovely hotel with practical feel and great location

Lovely hotel - comfortable and practical rooms, lovely staff and more than adequate breakfast. Superb location.
If you want to see the hotel on video then it features in my YouTube film ‘Szentendre - Hungary’s ideal Short Break from Budapest’ on the ‘Travel in the Know’ channel.
Szentendre has some great restaurants and a different vibe from Budapest - and you’ll probably save money and gain more memories by spending at least a night here rather than in Budapest.

Central Pension

Central, simple guesthouse with a large room. Pleasant and appropriate service and appropriate breakfast. Bicycles could be parked in the courtyard. The place can be easily explored on foot. Lots of tourists in this beautiful, idyllic place.

A good hotel

The only inconvenience is that there are only about thirty channels on television, one in German and all the others in Hungarian. There are no music channels. For the rest the Hotel is more than fine. Spacious room, comfortable bathroom, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Worth a try if you stop in Szentendre.

Nice place to stay in Szentendre

Very nice hotel in Szentendre. Great for family. Big family rooms, well equipped, even with a small kitchenette. There is private parking at the hotel. The design of the hotel is very beautiful. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a cute garden where it's nice to have breakfast. Breakfast itself is not a hit. Those who decide to stay at Szentendre , this hotel definitely provides a solution.

A forgettable experience...

We went to Szentendre with pretty high expectations, and turned out to be a forgettable experience.
The guest house is near to the centre of the city, it has a small parking yard - 7 places -. If you don't book in advance a space, it is highly possible that you don't get one. In this case you need to search for a place in the surrounding streets.
We get a family room on top floor, it was not a big room, below average sleeping quality, a noisy AC system, two empty refrigerators, a small tv and a very strange toilet box with plastic cover.
Breakfast was average...
If I want to point out a positive thing at this guest house is the gentleman on the night shift. He was very helpful.
