Family trip
14th June 2026 was a memorable day for us, as we spent a wonderful day at Coorg Cliff Resort with our 29 family members.
The ambiance was excellent, and the food was exceptionally tasty. The swimming pool was clean and very well maintained. The warmth, hospitality, and approach of the staff and management were truly unforgettable. We didn't even realize how quickly the day passed.
We wish Coorg Cliff all the very best and highly recommend this wonderful resort to everyone. May many more people enjoy beautiful and pleasant moments here with their loved ones.

Family vacation experience at coorg cliffs
Their Valley view rooms are good condition but view is great.
Staff are very courteous
Buffet food spread has good options and tasted well.
Infinity pool with Valley view is mesmerizing.
We really enjoyed our stay.

My Coorg experience
It was a serene experience at Coorg Cliff.My family and I had great time close to nature .Great food , excellent location and fabulous hospitality.Never have I got an ambience like this to relax and enjoy with family and friends.Thanks to coorg cliff management for their support and providing us with allthe help through out our trip.

So called 4 star resort with 0 star service and food quality. SPARE YOURSELF AND DON'T STAY AT THIS PLACE.
We (2 couples and 3 children) stayed for 3 nights at this place in May 2026. We must say that this place is horrible, it was our biggest mistake & disappointment of our 11 days long trip to Coorg, Kabini, Wayanad and Mysuru. I'm categorically saying this as a "Place" as this place doesn't deserve to be called as a resort. There is not a single thing that is worth appreciating.
To start with, we checked in late evening and the next morning while going to the bath we found that there was no shower gel in the bathroom. We immediately called the reception to get it filled. We waited almost half an hour before the 2nd reminder. In spite of multiple reminders within 2 hours, we didn't get the shower gel refilled. Went to the reception and the response which I got is more shocking. They said that they are out of stock for the shower gel. For a stature of so-called "4 star resort", this was an unimaginable response. Not to forget, we just checked in the previous evening that means the housekeeping staff who have set up the room before our arrival haven't also checked things properly or the gel was out of stock for the past 2 days.
The housekeeping service is terrible. On the second day, while coming back from sightseeing, we found that old bath towels, shower doormat and napkins were taken back but no replacement has been done. Again, we did multiple rounds of reminder to get the towels but each time we needed to wait for at least an hour and in the end we got a partial set of towels. The same things happened for the ice bucket, plates, tea/coffee replacements, etc. multiple reminders, not getting within stipulated time, partial receipt, etc.
Where do I start for room furniture? The bed mattress is made of spring. In my past experience at all other 4/5 star resorts, I didn't find such kind of spring mattress in the room in any of the resorts anywhere. Again forget about being it a spring mattress, the mattress was not maintained properly. It made a ridiculous sound even when a small child moves a little bit in bed while sleeping, what to mention about adult moving?
The staff at the restaurant is even more pathetic. The behaviour & attitude of a tall, french cut beard guy at the restaurant (perhaps, the restaurant manager) was on another level. He was like if you don't want to eat what's on the buffet then don't eat at all. We won't entertain any special requests. We are Jain and we have 3 toddlers with us so obviously we had special requests in terms of Jain Food and Child specific requirements. Whenever we asked for any request, his expressions were like he was providing food from his pocket.
The chef Ashok was good in nature, listening to us properly and was trying his best to provide us with Jain food but might be due to inexperienced in preparing Jain food or due to the bad quality of raw material, the food was way below average. Even the breakfast items were the same every day and all items including Idli, Fruits, Juices were horrible in taste & smell, seemed like stale food was served every day. We complained about it to the restaurant staff every day but there was zero improvement. It was not just us, we heard complaints from many other guests during our stay about bad quality and repetitive food items. Some items i.e. desserts and ice cream were out of stocks or leftover parts remained each day if we go for dinner after 9 pm. They were not refilling it at all.
We complained about all these to almost all possible staff members i.e. restaurant staff, chef, housekeeping, reception personnel, Operations manager, but the result was zero, not a single sign of improvement during our stay.
The ONLY thing that was good about Coorg Cliff is their infinity swimming pool and surroundings around it. They are surviving because of that only. Even one of their staff members was saying so. They have commercialized the place a lot which you feel immediately when you enter this place for the first time.
Overall the experience at this place was pathetic, horrible and shocking for us. They call it themselves as a 4 star resort but the service & food quality was way below 1 star, even Oyo hotels would do better compared to this place.

Perfect Vacation
A perfect place for a vacation. The ambiance and hospitality is top notch !!
This place is a value for money. The valley view rooms offer a great view with a nice private balcony.
Easy to access location with good security as well.
Swimming pool is clean, indoor and outdoor play areas are well maintained.
Not to forget the food !! Yummy and wholesome ... Shout out to the restaurant staff and the chef !!
