Cool stay during rainy days

Ours was a forced stop at kozhilode since due to the deluge our train to ernakulam was terminated at kozhikode. We wère forced to check into a hotelThe location is ideal since it is just 5 to 7 minutes away from the station. Clean rooms n toilets but no warm water. Ideally located since we walked to Subway for sandwiches. No restaurant facility available. Parkimg not sure. Overall a comfortable stay.

Pleasant stay with friends

Had a pleasant stay with friends during our feb 2018 visit to calicut! We booked 2 AC rooms and the rooms were clean enough for us! Wont recommend to family visitors as its doesnt seems like one for me. There was no hot water facility available which was just the only drawback i can say.

Good Budget Hotel

It is good Hotel, location is very close to rly station, shopping malls, beaches. Staffs are helpful. Hindi they know very well. Foods you can order and get. No wifi. Rooms are clean. Rooms with TV, Hot water.

Nice Place to Stiay

Hotel Metro Tower - Kozhikode (Calicut)
To be precise, I will put in my observations bullet wise. Please note that these points are with respect to our stay at this hotel from 25th May, 2016 to 27th May, 2016.
a. Location: Near Jayalakshmi Silks, Area: Challapuram
- Situated in the heart of the town
- Great proximity to the city railway station (10 min walk) or from places where you can board buses to Bangalore (M M Ali Road - 12 min walk)
- Bus stop to board local buses (en route Beypore Beach) is hardly 200 m away
- Famous tourist attractions nearby: Thali Temple (0.5 km), Kozhikode Beach (2.5 km), Manachira Tank (2 km), Sweet Mart Street (5 mins walk), Big Bazaar Road/Spice Market (15 mins walk) etc.
- Petrol Pump, Pharmacy, Internet Cafe, Hotels, Shopping centres etc are located in the vicinity.
b. Facilities: Room 102
- Check In Timings: 24 hours check in
- Double Bedroom with A/C, Geyser and TV
- Clean and well maintained room; wash room with western toilet was clean too
- Parking Space, Lift available
- No WiFi in rooms
- Toiletries were not given; towel provided was not clean
- Room service available
- Food can be ordered from nearby restaurant - Cochin Curry (not sure)
c. Staff
- Cordial, always ready to help
- Some may not speak in English
- Generally, all of them (at least those who we met) could converse well in Hindi
d. Tariff
- Not sure, since the booking was made by a friend

Met my expectations....

I stayed at the Metro Tower Hotel for a week. The room was neat & clean, all facilities were working fine. TV had some issues but was fixed instantly. Warm water was provided efficiently at request. Bathroom & Toilet was well maintained.
AC was working fine, which helped greatly in having a sound sleep. You have a hospital, bus stand, market nearby. They have a restaurant which serves fine food and it also accepts room delivery.
I booked it through Cleartrip with good discount. The cost of this AC Deluxe room was 4800/- for 5nights, which was comfortable for stay and okay on pocket.
I need to point out one important thing, though the Hotel mentions about WiFi facitlity, but please note WiFi is only available at Reception. Overall the service was satisfactory. I would recommend it if you are looking for comfort and something low in budget.
