Very Interesting stay

Surya Inn is 1.5 km from konark temple & museum. We took three rooms. Rooms are good, neat & clean but room service is slow.
Pls start Restaurant again which was stopped in covid.
Love to stay again.
Enjoyed late evening laser show of konark temple. Beach is also 3 km. Enjoyed lot at beach.

Average hotel near to museum.

Room were average, no facilities. Staff were good but required a better ambience and facilities. No tea, breakfast or lunch at nearby location. Expected better stay but over all just a ok ok hotel to book a room. Good part is that it is very near to museum and konark sun temple.

Mismanagement & lack of professionalism

Mismanagement everywhere! The room was more or less clean, however, it lacked every other amenities. No phone, no TV, no jug or packaged drinking water bottles, no glasses. Didn't provide towels or soap until asked. No arrangement for meals. Need to order food from a different hotel. Didn't provide plates for serving the food! Worst quality paper plates were provided!!
Only good thing was that the beds were spacious!!

Just good

Apartment converted hotel. Hotel is ok. Surrounded by hospitals and huge open drains. Some body has specific work can opt , families in vacations need to think . Service is good . Personnel are humble.Car parking is good and is open . Overall 3/5

Review in first impression, Not at all suitable for 1200/- Daylight roberry and plain simple cheating.
12ft*9ft size room.
Non working TV.
Bad conditioned bed,mattress, hard & flat pillow and smelly blankets.
AC vents are broken and is without maintenance.
Breakfast is not included but was mentioned as included under service section.
No Wi-Fi details provided.
Spoke with owner but of no benefit.
Room is with filthy smell, Dark room, there is a dim light only inside which cannot lighten half of the 108sqft room.
Small bathroom and usability of it is minimalistic.
No drinking water supplied.
Very small parking area. Hardly 2 cars can be accommodated.
Not at all walkable distance from temple or beach.
Rooms are not as advertised at all.
Very very disappointed.Gmap details shows AC Delux room is 999/- but in actual they take 1200/- without breakfast, no functional TV in 108sqft tiny room with almost next to broken cot. List is endless.Mostly no measurement for mosquito. Full night you will be tortured. Not even 1 mosquito repellent provided.
They should have refunded 300/- instead advised to stay one more night with another room with discounted rate.Ridiculous.For those giving high rating, learn on how to stay with bare minimum comfort.
Gave a bill of 999/- by taking 1200/- and when asked was shamelessly asking for GST amount on top of 1200/-. Owner is sweet spoken which people think is good and service is good.but this is the mask. be aware to avoid it completely. High raters are less than 5 or 10 reviewers, so high chance is they were asked to rate higher. Even 5 star rated hotels don't get 4.5 rating but this has got..smelling fishy!!!
