I stayed in the dormitory at an affordable price.
It's basic but good for travellers.
Every bed has a private reading light and power point.
I would rate it 8.5/10

The worst place I have stayed in India
The 2 lads at the front desk are more into their phones than service (see photo). , they live on that ledge.Food left for days on the stairs(photo), slamming doors loud conversation at all times of the night. bathroom was dirty with bug larvae on the toilet. Bathroom squeegee was a biological hazard. Garbage can in room disgusting. Shame on you total disregard for you hard earning visitors.

Worst experience

At the age of 27 I have never found a hotel like this. Their owners are ridiculous, especially the madam. We went to Rishikesh for a trip and since there was no pre-booking for the hotel, we travelled from Triveni Ghat to Laxman Jhula only because of this hotel. Initially after talking on the phone and sharing the room photos I thought this was a better hotel but seriously when we arrived there were no facilities and on complaining they said you can change the hotel, this is what happens here. The wires of the light in the room were out and on complaining they say so what, there is light in your room, there is no lift facility, there is no landline facility, there is no cleaning facility in the room, bed sheets and blankets are dirty, washroom lock is broken, drawers are full of garbage, dustbin is broken, they charged separately for making online payment and on all these complaints they say so what, this happens here, such a stupid lady is its owner, I would give this hotel 0 out of 10 and please I would suggest everyone to never visit this hotel.

Good Hotel near Lakshman Jhula

Our stay in Hotel Orange Classic was good and had a great experience. The price was good and affordable as we booked this Hotel post checking the reviews in the MakeMyTrip app. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were very cooperative and answered all our queries politely. We had extended our stay and the price offered by them for extension was good. They do provide the Rental Bike and Taxi Rental at a decent price. The Iyengar’s Samayal Restaurant opposite this Hotel was good and we had a good breakfast. The Hotel is 50 meters from the main road uphill. So be mindful about carrying your luggage and if you ask for help from staff, they will assist you. The hot water was available all the time and it was very convenient for us to get ready in the morning on time. The Hotel location is 3 Kms away from Ram Jhula. There is a taxi stand near to this Hotel and they have shared taxi service to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Also, you can take a share taxi till stand near Ram Jhula and cross the bridge to board the share auto to Haridwar that would be at an affordable price. My overall stay in this Hotel was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Rishikesh.
