Optimal

Excellent stay in an apartment, recently renovated and with everything you need for a short or longer holiday. We found everything very clean and welcoming. The owner was very kind and available for every need (in our case, she provided us with a high chair for my 9 month old son's food). As already mentioned, they pay a lot of attention to housekeeping and respond to all requests. Not far from the beach and the building is also equipped with a lift. Overall, excellent support for those who want to spend a (spectacular) beach holiday. Thank you, absolutely recommended and we will return as soon as possible

very noisy, impossible to sleep in the morning during summer

I just rented at the end of June 2026, you should avoid this apartment due to extensive noisy construction work, and starting at 6:45 AM, the workers are banging on the walls and everything vibrates.... Impossible to sleep. And the landlord, Ms. Paola, calls us liars and has no respect; to defend herself, Paola suggests we get up at 7 AM and come back in the afternoon to rest!!!! pure hypocrisy!!!!! The construction will continue all summer. ABSOLUTELY AVOID

Great location, modern building, great price

This building is located just at the border of the old town of Alghero (five minute walk to the harbour and the historic center).
The great thing about Aurasol is that it's a modern construction: perfect soundproofing, rooms located at the rear of the building (innercourt), king size beds, air conditioning...
We parked our car every night just in front of the building (September).
To summarize: very restful and easy for everything

Perfect holiday appartment

We stayed in this fresh and modern apartment with our teenagers. Very convenient location, 5 min to the old city centre, the port and the beach. The bathroom and kitchenette is very nice as well as the terrace on the roof . We would definitely come back again and we recommend Aurasol to our friends.

Basic, but convenient location

Our stay here was fine once we got used to a few things. The location is good; just outside the "historical centre", very close to regional buses and airport bus stop, 3 or 4 minutes walk to waterfront. (NB the beach was barely useable during our stay due to piles of seaweed being heaped up in mounds by dozers!)
Our room had a small but sunny balcony. Maria noticed we needed a laundry rack and brought us one; she was also kind enough to print our flight tickets.
The apartment is oddly designed - small kitchen/ living area with restricted space - we temporarily moved the kitchen table. The apartment would benefit from a small coffee table and laundry line.
Shower is small but bathroom is otherwise spacious - plenty of storage & hooks.
Bedroom is quite pokey but has large wardrobe. Bed has a good flat slatted base but we found the mattress a bit lumpy so we put a blanket under the bottom sheet.
The south view looks onto a large white prison wall.
WIFI was initially problematic but got fixed during our stay.
Unfortunately there was work being done on roof terrace (May 2013) so it was unavailable for our use - the terrace was one of the main reasons we booked this particular apartment so we were disappointed but we were not offered any compensation :(
All in all: stay here if you want convenience and don't mind too much about the slightly restricted interior layout.
