The perfect starting point for a nice vacation in Comacchio.

A perfect base for all kinds of excursions in Comacchio. Tastefully renovated B&B, comfortable and welcoming rooms, and an elegant common area, offering a complete breakfast for every taste. Riccardo is always ready to recommend the best excursions, whether by bike, on foot, or by boat in the wonderful valleys of Comacchio, or for cultural visits to Ravenna, Ferrara, and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended

An absolute gem even for solo travelers—felt just like home!

​I traveled to Comacchio by myself and was a little worried at first, but staying at Al Ponticello completely blew me away. The hotel is perfectly located right in the center and is easy to reach whether you are driving or taking public transportation. My room was modern, spacious, spotlessly clean, and above all with a very comfortable bed.
​What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff and their incredible attention to details. I mentioned that I am gluten intolerant, and every morning at breakfast, they prepared a fresh gluten-free cake just for me alongside the bread. It made me feel so cared for!
​I also highly recommend the Flamingo Hiking tour with Riccardo, he is a talented storyteller who made the tour both highly educational with a lot of fun. Both his wife and him were available whenever I needed anything, wrapping their professionalism in genuine warmth. I cannot wait to come back!

Great base for visiting Comacchio and the Po Delta.

More of a hotel than a B&B in terms of service.
Quiet and peaceful place.
Friendly welcome, Sara and Riccardo are attentive and generous with advice and suggestions.
Good breakfast with homemade pastries.
Beautiful rooms with everything necessary and a large bathroom. Fair price.
For a small extra charge, parking in the courtyard with the possibility of charging for electric cars.
Absolutely recommended.

It was nice Hotel in the center of Comachio. The obly little downside is the parking situation. If you got a bigger car you should reserve a spot in advance and also tell the personnel that you got a bigger car because the parking space is pretty narrow.

This place is a gem. Highly recommend the breakfast which is fresh and includes home baked goods, poached eggs, cheese and mortadella, fresh yogurt with toppings and juices. We went on Salt Flat excursion with Ricardo which can only be accessed through a registered guide. There were tons of flamingos and other water birds. Comacchio is a bird watcher/photographers paradise and Ricardo’s background as a naturalist and photographer will amp up your experience. Lovely place and people.
